Super Smash Bros. Legends is a platformer fighting game in the Super Smash Bros. Series... The game was teased in early August with a direct being released in the same month... specifally August 19th, 2018... the game's release will be announced in a later date.
The main focus in this game is bringing together what Mario&MLP Fan thought of in the past all the way to today (no matter how obscure)
Gameplay[]
The game plays very similar to previous Smash Bros. titles with a lot of mechanics returning. The objective of the game is to launch other fighters off the stage. Fighters will rack up damage to their opponents by attacking, the higher the percentage the farther they'll fly when hit. Just like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the damage is racked up during 1 on 1 battles and with items off
If a match enters Sudden Death, the screen will slowly zoom in on the center of the stage, shrinking the field of view and the stage boundaries thereby making it easier for fighters to be KO'd
Gamecube controllers are supported in Super Smash Bros. Legends just like Super Smash Bros. Melee - Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

So far... there are a total of 91 playable characters (Including the Mii Fighters, but counting the Pokemon Trainer as one). Final Smashes react the same way as in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate The first 68 fighters revealed are all available from the start while everyone who was revealed later must be unlocked
Custom Mii Fighters[]
Despite there being premade Mii Fighters, you can still create Mii Fighters with the Miis in your Mii Maker

Boss Battles[]
Boss Battles are planned to make an appearance in Super Smash Bros. Legends, There are a total of 20 boss battles in the game
Stages[]
Just like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate stages are picked first instead of the characters in Super Smash Bros. Legends... like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, you can play every stage in a Battlefield form, an Omega form (Final Destination form) and without hazards
There are a total of 129 stages in the full game. There are more stages in the game than playable fighters
Some stages have been renamed for Super Smash Bros. Legends... similar to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
The 71 stages that has been confirmed on reveal day will all be default while stages revealed after will all be locked
The pictures for the stages may make little to no since... it's all about imagination

Beta Elements[]
- The Mii Fighters were normally not going to be customizable
- It was planned to bring back all Smash 64 stages, but this idea has been deconfirmed
- Space Armada was previously known as Asteroid Belt
- Final Destination From Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was planned to be in the game known as Ultimate Final Destination but was taken out for Final Destination (64)
- The Team Healier item was planned, but was taken out during development
- Some Assist Trophies were removed for various reasons
- Marco and Dark Samus were removed and promoted to Playable Characters
- Off the Hook was removed in favor for Miguel from Coco
- Sukapon was removed in favor for Rayman
- Some cut characters in the roster were Agent P (Phineas & Ferb), Leo (Lab Rats), Chris (Total Drama), and Nikki (Dork Diaries)
- Nikki was cut because Mario&MLP Fan felt like he wanted to know the character better before adding her in as a playable fighter
- There was even a planned stage from the Dork Diaries series... but was cut along with Nikki and MacKenzie

- Characters who were considered to be playable but weren't taken into full action were Audrey (Hunie Pop), Glitter Lucky (Glitter Force), and MacKenzie (Dork Diaries)
- MacKenzie was going to be an echo fighter of Nikki
- Echo Fighters were origonally treated as echo fighters, now they are treated as their own fighter and are given upgrades to be as such

Trivia[]
- This game was inspired by Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
- The creator was going to wait until after Ultimate was finished... however the creator didn't feel like waiting that long and the creator also wanted to have his own personal ideas in a smash game before it was too late
- This is the first game not to have Massiharo Sakurai as the lead developer
- The stage Super Mario 63 was added because that game was a part of Mario&MLP Fan's childhood... he used to spend hours on that game
- Despite Nikki Maxwell not making the roster because Mario&MLP Fan found out about her during the beginning of production, he found out about Ragna later, but he made the roster because Mario&MLP Fan was able to pick him up pretty quickly
- Similarly he found out about Ruby Rose and Joker even later, both of them made the final roster
- Nikki Maxwell almost made it back to the roster, but Mario&MLP Fan decided against it because he felt like someone else who was close or similiar to her deserved the character slot more
- That character was Greg Heffley from Diary of a Wimpy Kid
- Blossom, Bubbles, Buttercup, and Ridley were origionally going to be revealed in Feburary, but ended up being revealed early in the last week of January
- Despite being teased, gameplay of Blossom & Buttercup were shown in Greg Heffley's trailer and Buttercup made a full on appearance in the trailer
- Elsa as an Assist Trophy and the Beacon Academy stage was added after the game's completion
