Summary[]
Super Mario 3D World Ultimate is game inspired by Super Mario 3D World Deluxe. It is also a remake of Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury.
Storyline[]
On an evening in the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad joined by Blue Toad, Yellow Toad, Daisy, Yoshi, Wario, Waluigi, Pauline, Toadette, Rosalina, and Nabbit come to view and enjoy the fireworks outside of Peach's Castle, when they discover a slanted Clear Pipe along the path. Mario and Luigi fix the Clear Pipe with hammers and wrenches using their professional plumbing skills, causing the pipe to eject a whole lot of items as well as a Sprixie Princess. The Green Sprixie Princess begins to explain that Bowser has kidnapped six of her fellow Sprixie Princesses and that she needs their help. Just then, Bowser emerges from the pipe and traps the princess inside a jar before disappearing back down the pipe with her. Peach, in trying to stop Bowser, falls down the pipe herself, and the others soon follow in order to assist her. Their journey has begun....

Luigi | Luigi is Mario's bro, and he's helping out like he always does! His physics may seem like every level is on ice, but his high jump and super backflip prove useful! |

Toad | Toad is a classic. He started helping Mario save the day in 88' and hasn't stop since. He is fast but can't jump very high. |

Princess Peach | Huh?! Peach is a hero too?! It was about time Bowser decided to kidnap someone else this time, so it's time to retire the role of 'damsel in distress' as you float through worlds with ease! Take your time, though, the speed's really quite low. |

Daisy | Daisy has decided to take a break from her responsibilties in Sarasaland and help defeat Bowser. While she may not float quite as well as Peach, she is good at double jumping. |

Blue Toad | Blue Toad is a wacky one. But he is somehow one of the fastest runners. That guy can't jump to save his life, though! |

Yellow Toad | Friend of Blue Toad, his stats are quit similar to Blue Toad and his red counterpart, but unlike those two he has access to the Super Acorn. |

Yoshi | Please don't ask how Yoshi got here. He's got his own style. Rather than jumping on enemies, he'll throw eggs at 'em. He can also flutter jump. |

Rosalina | Isn't she supposed to be in space? No! She's helping! She may be slower than Peach and Daisy, but that spin jump is quite useful. |

Toadette | This girl has got some style. She is similar to Toad, but unlike him she has access to the Super Crown. |

Wario | HUH?! A brand new hero has arrived from Diamond City! Well great, it's Wario! Looks like he's only in it for the treasure. (Typical Wario!) That guy's slower than molasses and can't jump very much! On the brightside, at least the bosses he encounters won't stand a chance. They're sure to go down in one hit! |

Waluigi | Wait, what? Waluigi? Yep this time Waluigi got to come along for the journey. He is the fastest foot racer in the land. He can also swim pretty fast. Though you have to watch out because he is so fast he could fall off easily. |

Pauline | This former 'damsel in distress' decides to help as well. |
|
Nabbit | This sneaky rabbit has managed to sneak himself into this journey. He is an expert theif and acts as an easy mode. Enemies can't hurt him. He is also very stealthy. However he can still get hurt from falling off. |

Captain Toad | Captain Toad is on his own adventure once again. He must collect Green Stars! His levels are all puzzle based, because you lack one crucial thing; jumping! |

Diddy Kong | Diddy Kong returns to his role as DK's sidekick. He can help DK by picking up speed and hovering like a Super Leaf, but way faster! |

Bowser | Finally, after so long, the satisfaction of you getting to play as this koopa is here! Bowser is a tank, plowing through enemies and spitting fireballs! He's unfortunately extremely slow though. |

Bowser Jr. | You can now play this this prince. He can find items by using his magic paintbrush. He also hovers through the air in his clown car. |

Donkey Kong Jr. | What? Is this some kind of time travel? Don't question the logic of this Kong's inclusion. Donkey Kong Jr's abilities are unknown at the moment. |

Sonic | Somewhere the blue blur managed to get his own adventure because now Mobius is in danger. Sonic is the fastest foot racer around, but he is not very strong. He also can't jump very high. |

Link | Well I guess one kingdom wasn't enough. Now Hyrule is also in danger. This Hylian has no choice but to save Hyrule for the Nth time. Link is a well balanced character like Mario. Unluck Mario though, Link has the Master Sword and his signature shield. |

Zelda | I guess Link couldn't save Hyrule on his own this time, so his girlfriend Zelda decided to help out. Zelda is armed with The Triforce and can defeat larger enemies with it. |

Lucky Bell | No invinciblity for you! However, you are guaranteed luck if you Ground Pound in the air! |

Ice Flower | This flower makes it's cold return. It allows you to shoot ice projectiles. |

+ Clock | With this item you will no longer have to feel rushed. This item adds more time to the current time. |

Double Cherry | Think cloning is impossible? Then check again. Because this powerup makes a clone of yourself. Unfortunately it copys your every move. |

Super Acorn | Exclusive to Yellow Toad, this acorn can help you glide across lit a flying squirrel. |

Super Crown | Exclusive to Toadette, this crown turns you into Peachette and gives you all of the perks that Peach has. |

Peanut Popgun | This item is exclusive to Diddy Kong. |
|
Mini Mushroom | This shroom helps you discover every nook and cranny. |

Poison Mushroom | This is not a powerup you want to grab. |
|
Gold Flower | Returning from a coin-filled Mushroom Kingdom, the Gold Flower will make you a millionaire by granting you Midas-like powers! |

Blue Shell | Now here's a shell you can fit inside. It will let you destroy anything in your path. It is a great way to get out your anger. |

Giga Cat Bell | This power-up lets you transform into a giant cat. It is only available in Bowser's Fury. |

Cat Shine | These are collectables you need to collect throughout Bower's Fury. |

Elephant Fruit | A wonderful power-up that turns you into an elephant. |

Bubble Flower | A power-up that grants you the ability to shoot bubbles. This power-up can't be used by Yoshi. |

Arcade Mode[]
This mode has changed a little bit. After beating Story Mode, this fast-paced mode is unlocked. This mode places you back in the main adventure. But good luck! You're need it because you must beat the entire journey in one sitting. The upside is that you don't have to collect green stars to progress.
Champion's Road[]

Master Mode[]
You unlock this mode after you beat Champion's Road. Note as this mode is different here than in Super Mario 3D World Deluxe. You get three hits instead of only one. That's a plus! Unfortunately the levels are a little more difficult than in Story Mode.
