Light VS Dark: Crossover is clearly inspired directly from Marvel VS Capcom Infinite, with many similarities like 2 man teams, 4 palettes, and a Story Mode as well.
Story Mode: Darkness Prevails[]
Join the Light Resistance as they fight The Darkness and free all worlds from despair
Darkness Prevails is about the story of The Light Resistance fighting The Darkness, on a random day, out of nowhere, villains from various worlds joined forces, and have taken over the six worlds, 3 months later the Light Resistance strikes back in hope to find the Chaos Emeralds hoping that with it's power, hope can return to all their worlds

Playable Characters[]
There are a total of 32 playable characters (not counting DLC), Before choosing fighters, you have a choice to ether fight as a tag-team or solo.
Tag Team - Play with 2 fighters, you can send a player back so that person can heal health
Solo Team - Only 1 person fights for them self, your health is a bit more than doubled, you just can't escape to heal
DLC[]
It's been confirmed that they will be DLC playable characters in the game, It's been conformed that there will be at least 10 DLC fighters, DLC characters will be released in packs where you buy 2 characters per pack.

Palette Swaps[]
Everyone will have a total of 4 palette swaps. After choosing your character, you have to choose a palette swap as well. Once one palette is chosen, the other player can't choose that palette swap.
