Trivia[]

  • This is the last Koopa Kart game to feature just new tracks, as starting from the next Koopa Kart game, there will be retro tracks alongside the new tracks. It is also the last Koopa Kart game where Hammer Bro and Dry Bones are heavyweights and Monty Mole, Shy Guy, Spiny, and Buzzy Beetle are middleweights. The first one will become a middleweight, while the remaining five will become lightweights.
  • Starting from this game, Lakitu is a middleweight.
  • This and Super Koopa Kart are the only Koopa Kart games without any unlockable characters. Similarly, this is the only Koopa Kart game to feature more characters than it does courses; there are twenty-four characters in this game and only sixteen courses in this game.
