  • 13th - Kirby and the Voiceless Queen
  • 14th - The Legend of Zelda: Resurrection of Soul, The Legend of Zelda Remake, The Legend of Zelda: Return of the Hero

Day 1 Presentation[]

TES 6 Elsweyr Logo

That's right, the next entry in the legendary Elder Scrolls Series will follow along into the Desert and Jungles of the lushous Elsweyr. In Elsweyr the Khajiit are at their strongest, all forms of Khajiit from small house cats to giant tigers live freely with their Elven allies and are cautious of the Humans and Argonians who neighbour their territory.

Elsweyr is described as being hostile and beautiful all at once, the religious symbols the Khajiit worship can be found throughout Elsweyr in their architecture and ruins. The Ancient Khajiit built many monuments to their gods that are hidden beneath the desert sands and the jungle trees.

It is the end of the Fourth Era, the war between Man and Mer has erupted with the Eastern lands of Elsweyr, Black Marsh & Morrowind remaining in relative peace due to their neutrality to both sides. The Era's end is being marked by the upcoming birth of a new Mane, a legendary figure in Khajiit society that is considered the leader of all the Khajiit, after friction between the Khajiit and Thalmor erupted in the early years of the Fourth Era the Khajiit have banned the Thalmor from staying in Elsweyr during the final years leading up to the birth of the new Mane causing the Thalmor to be suspected of sending in spies and assassins.

You, the player are a lowly farm-hand, destined for peace and tranquility as you work with fellow farm-hands from across Tamriel, however the peace of a tranquil life is cut off as the player is forced to abandon their home when the Thurlimer, a group of arsonists who plague Western Elsweyr with threats of bringing Elsweyr down in the name of the Thalmor attack the farm causing the player to escape along with a number of Farm-Hands. With knowledge of the group and their intentions the player is informed that they should seek to inform higher individuals to get the message out, although from this point onward the player's journey is based on their decisions.

With 6 In-Game Years to either help prevent a plot to assassinate the next Mane, assist in creating and pulling off the plot to assasinate the next Mane, go solo and kill the Mane for alterior motives, convincing the Khajiit High Council to put its foot into the war between Man and Mer or any number of other options, The Elder Scrolls VI: Elsweyr intends to be the most open and free Elder Scrolls Game yet. Once the six years pass the player continues the game with the reprucusions of their decision (or indecision) towards the birth of the new Mane greatly impacting the people of Elsweyr as well as the sorts of enemies and people who appear. This was intended to allow players who like later Elder Scrolls games which play on power fantasies and players who like earlier Elder Scrolls games which play on classical fantasy to play the game how they like.

TES 6 Races

Say hello to the 20 playable races of The Elder Scrolls VI: Elsweyr, due to the location of Elsweyr the Argonians and Khajiit are cast in a new light showing that their seemingly whole countries are in actuality made of many different types of Khajiit & Argonians. In addition due to the climate of Elsweyr hte rare Maormer, known more commonly as the Tropical Elves make their first playable appearance in the series and the Orma, an ancient tribe of humans that once lived in Black Marsh and were thought to be extinct are revealed to have moved in secrecy to Elsweyr and use the Khajiit to keep their presence a secret.

Skills TES 6

In addition the skill system has been revised once more, now skills fall under one of 6 categories; Strength, Charisma, Agility, Willpower, Stamina & Magicka. The better a player's base skill the faster they'll increase those skills, the Skills allow the player to level up with experience gained as skills increase. Skills are also gained more organically with the player's choices in how they play impacting what skills they will most likely increase.

SECRET PROJECT 1

Pokemon Go Journey Beyond Logo

That's right, a remake(-esque) of Pokemon GO, with improved systems and a greater sense of the experience of being a Pokemon Trainer, Pokemon GO Journey Beyond promises to expand greatly upon the base concept of Pokemon GO to allow for significantly greater player interaction, viability in single-player fun as well as improving the game in its mechanics. While more will be revealed when the page is created here's what you can expect.

  • A complete overhaul of the Gym System to make it more akin to the classic Pokemon Gyms
  • Allowing Offline Mode to be a viable option of playing
  • Increasing the player interactivity in Pokemon Battles and Catching, making it closer to the games yet keeping a sense of reality to it all
  • Improvements to the Leveling system and evolution system making it more similar to the main games and also easier while retaining the concepts introduced
  • Improving the ability for players to interact through a new Ranked System as well as Casual Battles & Offline Battles

SECRET PROJECT 2

Journey Home Centauri 2 Logo

That's right, Journey Home Centauri, a bizarre RPG featuring a relatively random cast of characters is getting a sequel, no longer focusing on the RPG aspects and instead going for a more Action vibe, Journey Home Centauri 2 will focus on Bailey's return to the Centauri, a universe which seems to bleed into other universes, this time joined by a new cast of characters to help her see if she can establish a stable connection between the Centauri and Home.

Bailey SpriteBob SpriteLumalee SpriteSly SpriteBeat Sprite

  • Bailey - Bailey's hook and water elemental abilities allow her to swim faster and more effectively than the others, allowing her to reach oceanic depths and bust through boulders, in addition her hook lets her latch onto ledges too far for the others to reach (until Bob upgrades his flight). She attacks with heavy hitting but slow to perform attacks.
  • Bob the Blob - The flier of the group, Bob initially can only fly short distances before running out of energy, his ability to fly can be upgraded throughout the game but his main ability is to squeeze his body through narrow passageways allowing him to reach secret areas and activate valves that would otherwise be out of reach, Bob is also immune to toxic waste and while he'll still get hurt from poisonous darts they won't leave a lingering effect on him.
  • Lumalee - The elemental specialist of the group, Lumalee's control over Fire and Ice makes him very useful in creating bridges of ice across water surfaces to move objects as well as burn ropes, melt ice blocks, cool off molten rock and condense steam into rain. Lumalee is a ranged fighter and due to his small size he can weave through enemy attacks that the others might not be able to.
  • Sly Paperfox - The fastest character on land, Sly's ability to draw in reality allows him to create platforms, craft his own weapons out of thin air and also solve puzzles by drawing in objects needed, he can attack directly by scribbling but also by spending more time to create a powerful weapon. Sly also acts as the game's Enemy Analyzer as he can trap defeated enemies in pages he keeps with him to add to the Glossary of Centauri.
  • Beat - The last character, Beat is the most durable character although is also the tallest leaving him vulnerable to being hit by attacks the others could dodge. Beat can travel along Colour Streams which are prevalent in the Western Regions of the world, in addition he can generate small bursts of noise to solve puzzles and damage enemies.
World Links

This world in the Centauri Universe is inspired by Metroidvania-style world in other games, the regions of the game are split up into branching paths that the player can approach in a relatively free order, intially the player begins in Beginner's Valley and treks across the regions to search for Stable portals, travelling from Overgrown Forests to Volcanic Calderas to the Bottom of the Ocean, Inside a Computer, to the Cold North, even going onto the Moon and a satellite Asteroid, the Skies above and the Deserts beyond, the player and characters will find all sorts of strange regions to explore.

Day 2 Presentation[]

Kirby and the Voiceless Queen Logo

That's right, a new installment in the Kirby series, taking Kirby across Popstar to rescue the people of the Card Kingdom from dark forces. Some old friends are along for the ride too and old friendships are revitalized to face off against this new evil.

Gooey Voiceless QueenChuchu Voiceless QueenRick Voiceless QueenCoo Voiceless Queen

Four companions from Kirby's Dream Land 2 and Dream Land 3 return to help Kirby.

  • Gooey - This curious Dark Matter is one of the sole survivors of his species, unlike other Dark Matter he is not evil and seems in general to be unaware of his mysterious origins. Gooey can help Kirby by enhancing Copy Abilities like; Whip, Water, Beam & Disguise. Gooey's long tongue can also reach into the background or foreground to activate switches to reveal new paths.
  • Chuchu - A cute little octopus, Chuchu often likes to spend her time with Nyupun hanging around the beach although has decided to help Kirby once again. Chuchu can help Kirby by enhancing Copy Abilities like; Parasol, Ice, Spark and Gemini. In addition she can squeeze through pipes too small for Kirby to solve puzzles.
  • Rick - Cunning and adventerous, Rick is a brave hamster who is one of Kirby's closest allies, Rick's determination can get the better of him on occasion though as he can be seen tripping up when going into full sprints. Rick can help Kirby by enhancing Copy Abilities like; Fire, Sword, Wheel & Hammer. In addition Rick is capable of digging through soft dirt to find hidden treasures or even open up paths not normally accessible.
  • Coo - The wise, albeit somewhat self-absorbed Coo the Owl is back to help Kirby as well, knowing the danger the new evil could pose on Pop Star he's come to aid Kirby with air superiority. Coo can help Kirby by enhancing Copy Abilities like; Stone, Cutter, Archer & Tornado. Coo is able to fly much faster than Kirby and can use updrafts to access secret parts of stages for Kirby and him to explore.

Copy Abilities of course are back and one new distinct member to the cast is Origami.

Origami Ability Star

Origami is an active ability that lets Kirby create paper wonders to help in in numerous ways, Kirby can create a flock of cranes, a charging elephant, scuttling crabs, paper ninja stars and even replica Waddle Dees. If Kirby's running then he'll charge enemies with a piece of paper before folding them into a plane and throwing them away, if they're small enough. In addition Kirby can use Origami to cut through Rope and send Mini-Paper Kirbies through small tunnels to activate switches.

But wait, there's more, the strange gifts of the Card Kingdom have created strange enemies that now wander the land, these are the fused enemies, each one yields two Copy Abilities in one, creating new and strange Fusion Abilities. Much like Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards & Kirby Squeak Squad before it, these abilities combined the best attributes of the base Copy Abilities to make powerful and impressive attacks that Kirby can even keep between stages.

Thunderbow Ability StarQuakerbomb Ability StarBurningblade Ability StarSmasherwheel Ability StarCycloleaf Ability StarMirage Ability StarBoomeravelin Ability StarFrostmallet Ability StarParadream Ability StarEnergywhip Ability Star

There are 10 Fusion Abilities in Kirby and the Voiceless Queen, each a combination of two different Copy Abilities.

  • Thunderbow - Spark & Archer
  • Quakerbomb - Stone & Bomb
  • Burningblade - Fire & Sword
  • Smasherwheel - Needle & Wheel
  • Cycloleaf - Tornado & Leaf
  • Mirage - Water & Ninja
  • Boomeravelin - Cutter & Spear
  • Frostmallet - Ice & Hammer
  • Paradream - Parasol & Sleep
  • Energywhip - Beam & Whip

More information on these abilities will be provided at a later date.

Lastly there is another Ability Star but not for Kirby, periodically Kirby will encounter Dark Matter Ability Stars.

Dark Matter Ability Star

These malicious stars will appear once in every level at random, they will chase Kirby until they see an enemy on screen, they will then fuse with that enemy making that enemy more powerful and dangerous giving it special abilties. The Dark Matter will trap Kirby in an arena with the enemy until Kirby defeats it causing the Dark Matter Ability Star to explode.

And that's not all, the Extra Mode of Kirby and the Voiceless Queen is in fact a prequel, taking place shortly after the events of Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards. So, say hello to,

Galactalight Redemption

The Extra Mode of Kirby and the Voiceless Queen is known as Galactalight Redemption and stars the one and only,

Galacta Knight Fallen God

Galacta Knight

That's right in this Extra Mode you control Galacta Knight who had been temporarily unsealed by an old ally to overcome his internal fury.

Ribbon64

Yep, Ribbon. In Galactalight Redemption, Ribbon has unsealed Galacta Knight to help him overcome his internal fury, Galacta Knight is revealed to have been raised on Ripple Star with the Fairies acting as their guardian in a similar way that Kirby protects the inhabitants of Pop Star. Ribbon along with the Queen of Cards uses the power of wishes to create an entire world from Galacta Knight's psyche to help him overcome his internal fury. Unlike previous Extra Modes all the levels in Galactalight Redemption are different from the main game.

Another World Voiceless Queen

Galacta Knight must defeat physical manifestations of his psyche to help overcome his internal fury, each represented by a strange being representing either battles Galacta Knight has endured in the past or ones to come.

BrashgelSketcheraBlind WarriorRimmadowLava Dragon

  • Brashgel - a manifestation of Galacta Knight's endurance to pain, Brashgel is a curious monster with orbs that it carries in its scarf-like arms that are as heavy as a small planet, being hit by any one would leave a lesser warrior incapable of fighting and yet through endurance Galacta Knight has learnt to pass off all forms of injuries.
  • Sketchera - A strange manifestation of Galacta Knight's encounter with the curious Paintra, Sketchera appears to be the faded memory of that encounter and has become more vicious and evil than the real being, Sketchera is capable of drawing in her attacks much quicker than the other Art Sisters and flies around faster than Galacta Knight
  • Blind Warrior - A distorted memory of Galacta Knight's first visit to Pop Star, before fighting Meta Knight at the behest of NOVA, Galacta Knight came to Pop Star out of curiosity and exploration, encountering the Paint Roller from Pop Star his memory of this individual whose playful nature seemed strange to Galacta Knight made him unpredictable and has caused Galacta Knight to remember the Paint Roller as a curious adversary whose attack pattersn were impossible to figure out.
  • Rimmadow - A shadowy creation of the future, Rimmadow represents the forthcoming evil that would try to forcefully unseal Galacta Knight via Magolor & Star Dream. This creature reflects the dark and cruel nature of Galacta Knight that he had been able to keep hidden away. By defeating this vile copy of his mind Galacta Knight can gain greater control preventing himself from lashing out ever again.
  • Lava Dragon - When the Gods of the Universe summon Galacta Knight to try and stop Kirby he will remember one of the allies who fought with him to try to stop Kirby, the Ice Dragon. A curious creature that Galacta Knight can only forsee the latter half of its name making him believe it to be a fierce and fiery beast. With flames that can melt the very platforms of its battlefield away the Lava Dragon is an enraging force that strikes an inescapable fear into those that face it.

Nightmare Orb Voiceless QueenNightmare Knight

The last thing standing between Galacta Knight and his redemption, a test of his inner psyche, in order to unlock this absolute darkness within Galacta Knight such that he can overcome it Ribbon has plunged Galacta Knight and herself into an alternate dimension, where his Psyche has become reality, now faced with the threat of a the Nightmare Knight who has leeched all of Ribbon's power and plans to escape from the alternate dimension back to his own, Galacta Knight must defeat this dark being to free his mind.

Defeating the Nightmare Orb in a battle near identical to the one from Kirby's Adventure Galacta Knight goes face to face with the Nightmare Knight, a being as powerful as Galacta Knight but of pure evil. However through sheer will Galacta Knight is able to overcome this dark abomination causing the alternate dimension to collapse in on itself, Ribbon in a last ditch effort uses what little energy she has left to return Galacta Knight to his sealed prison telling him that the Queen will need him again as a strange presence seems to engulf the Alternate Dimension and slowly stares at Galacta Knight.

Thus bringing us to the main game, Kirby must go across Pop Star to fight unusual creatures that have been fused to copy abilities making them more powerful and unpredicatable while at the same time rescuing the Card People and opening the way to get to the Queen.

Doctor Woods M.D.DologamiBuzzakoLast CloneDragomire

  • Doctor Woods M.D. - In a frankly bizarre twist of fate Whispy Woods has been fused with the Doctor Copy Ability giving him incredible medical experience despite him lacking proper limbs. Now instead of growing apples, Doctor Woods M.D. grows powerful medicinal pills that can have any number of effects from exploding upon impact to unleashing a toxic gas. In addition the Surgical Mask he wears provides him with extra protection making Fire-based attack nearly useless against him. Doctor Woods M.D. still has the ability to shoot his roots out of the ground and when threatened will burrow into the background to perform "Root Surgery".
  • Dologami - A dolphin that became infused with the Origami Copy Ability, this creature is able to fold itself into numerous shapes including Jets, Trains, Bombs, Sharks and a Swarm of Piranhas, watch out as this water-borne paper being is incredibly fast and will require precised timing from Kirby to avoid, she can even swim into the background and create a Water Spout causing the entire battlefield to reshape itself.
  • Buzzacko - The combination of Kracko with the Bee Copy Ability, Buzzacko is a nasty fighter using his Electrical Abilities in conjunction with sticky honey to make his opponents stuck in place for him to strike more easily. In addition Buzzacko can summon a swarm of bees to chase Kirby and will fly around the screen very fast using his stingers to try and strike Kirby, he can even parry weapons like Sword and Cutter if they strike his stingers.
  • The Last Clone - A remnant from Kirby's encounter with the Haltmann Works Company, this clone appears to be the only one of its kind left although with it infused with the Gemini Copy Ability that might not hold true for long, it is able to perform abilities it stole from various enemies as well as King Dedede and some Mid-Bosses. Be careful though as it appears it adapts its battle style specifically to Kirby's ability (if he has one).
  • Dragomire - It is truly a mystery how a Waddle Dee ended up like this but never the less Dragomire is the result of a Waddle Dee being fused with the Dragon Copy Ability, this ferocious beast is a bit of a slacker and will try to put in the minimum effort when fighting, although if you get it angry prepare for pain and punishment as its ferocious fangs will swallow Kirby whole, its wings can whip up violent winds and it can breathe an intense flamethrower of fire. It can even use its tail like a spring to bounce around the stage in an unpredictable manner.
Popstar Voiceless Queen

Eventually however Kirby will overcome these strange hybrids and be able to enter the Card Castle, a strange structure that acts both as the Card Kingdom's home and also as their ship to travel around from planet to planet. It is in these final acts that the story begins to come together. The Dark Matter behind the capturing of the Queen and turmoil that has erupted on Pop Star is known as Dark Silence and is actually the very being that captured Ribbon all those years ago. Determined to refuse itself with one like Galacta Knight, Dark Silence attempts to trick Kirby into getting close enough for it to take him over. However before Kirby can face Dark Silence, Galacta Knight who had after his last three encounters with Kirby mastered his self-control allowing him to be free from his prison appears from Another Dimension to test Kirby to protect him from Dark Silence.

In a fierce fight Kirby bests Galacta Knight for the last time, Galacta Knight acknowledging that Ribbon had been defeated by Dark Silence entrusts Kirby with his own energy in hopes to be able to overcome Dark Silence giving Kirby a new ability.

Galacta Ability Star

Galacta Ability Star

The Galacta Ability Star, an incredibly rare ability that Galacta Knight had bound to him for years, its power allows Kirby to yield a Lance and Shield similar to Galacta Knight and gives him protective armour around his arms and legs to boost his defense. Kirby heads up to face Dark Silence who had positioned itself upon the Queen's throne, however in an attempted sneak attack, a strange creation of Dark Silence tries to coil itself around Kirby to take him over, however Kirby deflects the creation causing it to rear itself up and reveal itself.

Masked Controller

This creation, dubbed the Masked Controller was Dark Silence's plot to take over Kirby, a haunting reminder of the Mask that seems to invoke an untapped power within King Dedede the Masked Controller fights Kirby with the Galacta Ability Star in hopes of taking him over taunting him all the while, however in its hastiness and naivity the Masked Controller is destroyed by Kirby, finally able to face Dark Silence Kirby turns to the card with the Queen on it which begins to float up into the air as the arms on the front detach and flip itself over revealing Dark Silence.

Dark Silence Phase 1

Fighting the unnatural abomination, Kirby uses Galacta to tear Dark Silence out of the Queen of Cards causing it to reel in pain and giving the Queen safety against the abomination. With its determination to take over Kirby, Dark Silence changes forms tapping into Kirby's memory of Dark Matter.

Dark Silence Phase 2

Attempting to intimidate Kirby the Dark Matter attacks utilizing Kirby's memory against him, casting Dark Lightning and charging across the screen with incredible force, as the battle between Kirby and Dark Silence progresses the Throne Room falls apart and by the time Kirby defeats this form of Dark Silence the entire Throne Room has been completely flattened with all the cards making the throne, pillars, ceiling and decorations being knocked over by Dark Silence. Defeated again, Kirby plunges the Galacta into the strange symbol of Dark Silence's forehead, causing a burst of light erupt from within Dark Silence tearing its mouth open.

Ribbon Voiceless Queen

From the light appears Ribbon, who'd been trapped within Dark Silence for years, unable to maintain her original form she instead created a form based on the Dark Matter yet still pure. Ribbon sees Kirby for the first time in years and apologizes to Kirby stating that Dark Silence had been leeching of her energy allowing itself to get to be as powerful as it was. She tells Kirby that while there is still time she will giver her life to save the Queen, using her energy to give Kirby a new ability star even more powerful than Galacta.

Fairie Ability Star

Fairie Ability Star

An Ability Star of incredible power, created from the raw energy of a Fairie, Ribbon gives Kirby the ability to channel energy into a concentrated Crystal Blade and also gives him special wings to fly faster than before. Kirby equips this ability star however, not realizing this would remove the Galacta Ability Star, Dark Silence catches Kirby off guard quickly inhaling the Galacta Ability Star infusing it with a greater level of power than before thanks to the focused energy of the ability star allowing it to transform again.

Dark Silence Phase 3

Manifesting itself into a larger form, Dark Silence now imbued with Galacta Knight's power twists the Castle with Another Dimension causing strangle ripples to appear. The battle takes place in a similar manner to the Dark Matter Battles from Kirby's Dream Land 2 in which there is a time limit before Kirby is taken by Dark Silence into Another Dimension.

With this form of Dark Silence defeated the sheer power of the Fairie Ability Star causes Dark Silence to lose the Galacta Ability Star, which deliberately fuses with Kirby and the Fairie Ability Star forming Kirby and the Voiceless Queen's ultimate Ability.

Ripple Ability Star

Ripple Ability Star

Between the raw energy of Galacta Knight & Ribbon a new Ability Star is formed, the Ripple Ability Star, gifting Kirby with the incredible combination of the Galacta imbued with Crystal Energy as well as the Wings of a Fairie and Galacta Knight's Shield. Kirby prepares himself as he witnesses Dark Silence cower in pain, however the creature begins to laugh, stating that it didn't want to resort to reabsorbing its own energy and that it has gathered knowledge of the powerful beings that have fallen onto Popstar's soil allowing him to use their abilities in conjunction with his own to become more powerful thanks to the Dark Matter Ability Stars.

Dark Silence Final Form

With the power of Queen Sectonia, Star Dream & Dark Zero, Dark Silence increases greatly in size now towering above Kirby and able to utilize abilites from the three villains it absorbed. The two fly around Dream Land throughout their battle, as Kirby receives aid from his Animal Buddies, the bosses now reverted to their original forms and even King Dedede to defeat Dark Silence. Finally after battling all over Pop Star Dark Silence is finally defeated allowing Pop Star to return to normal.

Now yeah that was the entire plot (heavily condensed mind you) of Kirby and the Voiceless Queen's Story Mode and Extra Mode, however there is more to come with the Sub-Games and Arenas as well as greater detail about the plot of each individual world.

The Story of the Greatest Warrior[]

Since I'm sure the details of Galacta Knight's past are not clear I will elaborate greatly in this story. I will go over the story leading up to Galacta Knight's imprisonment and his relationship with the Fairies and Card Kingdom. Please note this is entirely fanonical, there is no evidence to suggest a correlation between Galacta Knight & the Fairies of Ripple Star as Galacta Knight's past in general is a complete mystery.

In Inferno's Fanon, Kirbies arrive to planets that are destined for turmoil between Order and Chaos, this chaos manifests itself as Dark Matter whilst order is manifested as Kirbies. The first Kirby of Pop Star was Meta Knight however due to his relationship with King Dedede it was determined by the God of Order that he would be insufficient if King Dedede were to fall to Dark Matter, as such Kirby was sent to Pop Star as the second Kirby and became a greater protector proving to be capable of battling anyone who Dark Matter possessed.

However, in a time long since forgotten another Kirby was sent to a distant planet, Ripple Star. That Kirby would become known as Galacta Knight and was raised by the Fairies and protected their world from the Dark Matter who saught the Crystal Shard. Galacta Knight's power increased exponentially and he began to explore new planets including a much younger Pop Star before Meta Knight had arrived in search of potential Dark Matter. Galacta Knight like all Kirbies barely ages and despite being generations older than Ribbon or even the Fairie Queen he looks no older than Kirby or Meta Knight.

Galacta Knight's relationship with the Fairies became a crucial part of himself and by exploring the absolute extremes of Ripple Star Galacta Knight was able to hone his skills into his own Ability Star, the Galacta, an Ability Star that gives him his signature Lance & Shield as well as additional armour to protect him. As he was raised by pure individuals such as the Fairies he gained Angelic Wings to reflect those that influenced him, however seeking more power Galacta Knight spent less and less time on Ripple Star now actively seeking out the Dark Matter.

It would be this point that would change Galacta Knight from being one of the most powerful Kirbies in the universe to the most powerful Warrior in the Universe. Galacta Knight's desire to fight Chaos became so great that he went on a crusade across the cosmos attacking Dark Matter wherever it appeared, this caused imbalance between Order and Chaos and the Fairies along with the Card Kingdom, a race known for the ability to utilize powerful sealing magic pleaded to the Gods for the power to stop Galacta Knight wihtout killing him.

The gods, while hesitant (as shown in Fallen God they would rather resort to just removing the rogue element) agreed to their terms and gifted the Fairies with greater magical powers allowing them to convince Galacta Knight to be sealed in Another Dimension where he would have time to meditate and think on his actions and try to calm himself by extinguishing the intense fury in his soul. This lead to Galacta Knight being sealed away and would later be unsealed by the descendant, Ribbon who was one of the few Fairies trusted to leave Ripple Star as the time for Galacta Knight's seal had come to a passage where he would need to undergo a Psyche cleanse, which becomes the basis for the Extra Mode known as Galactalight Redemption. As explained in Extra Mode, Galacta Knight's Nightmarish form is defeated however Ribbon becomes trapped within the Alternate Dimension with the Dark Matter of Galacta Knight's psyche. Galacta Knight is resealed leading up to KSSU or RtD (depending on which you think is first in the timeline)

Day 3 Presentation[]

Today's the last day of the Presentations and if you saw my Previews you know that today for Darklight Studios may as well be the Zelda Presentation day, today we have three Zelda Games to present; A Remake of the Original Legend of Zelda in the format of Breath of the Wild, A Super Remake of Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages and lastly a brand new Zelda Game, The Legend of Zelda: Resurrection of Soul.

Zelda 1 Remake LogoReturn of the Hero LogoLegend of Zelda Resurrection of Soul Logo

The Legend of Zelda (Remake)[]

We'll begin with the Remake, The Legend of Zelda (Remake). This game is a heavily updated rendition of the original game for the NES, made into a 3D Environment and updated drastically to make it more similar to BotW in game design. The land of Hyrule is larger and more expansive than before resulting in more lushous and varied environments and more creatures to inhabit the land.

A New Old Map

The World of Hyrule in Legend of Zelda (Remake) is divided into many regions, unlike BotW there are no towers or ways to reveal the map, since to keep with the original mystery of the first game the player's journey is not shown to them but rather they create it. There are small settlements that replace the previously rare caves of the game although the circumstances of The Legend of Zelda mean that these settlements are incredibly small housing only a dozen or so people, even the Goron and Zora have very low populations. New Races also appear, having been gifted by Ganon with greater intelligence.

Synopsis[]

It has been many centruies since the Golden Era, monsters no longer fear the monarchy of Hyrule, its tranquility has left it weak and lazy, within a few years the Golden Era was over, monsters stormed Hyrule Castle and razed it to the ground, claiming the Triforce for their own and using its power to revive Ganon. The King of the Gerudo, now returned has plunged the world into a decline, his forces reign supreme, the people of Hyrule have become scattered and isolated and those once loyal to the royal family have turned their backs in anger and fury.

Now Link, a young hero who'd been prophecized by the ancient sage, Impa has reached a point where he is ready to combat Ganon but is informed by Zelda that Ganon has sealed himself within Spectacle Rock under ancient magic that only the power of the Triforce of Courage can unseal, now it is Link's duty to acquire the shattered Triforce of Courage and defeat the evil Ganon to save Hyrule from the ever growing army of Ganon.

Zelda 1 Remake Races

There are 8 races in Hyrule although gaining their trust is easier said than done, while the Hylians, Gorons and Koroks are friendly to Link and will gladly trade with him, the Zora and Rito are more cautious and while they'll trade with Link they will refuse to let him stay at their settlements. Lastly the Gerudo, Lynels & Moblins are wary of Link and will attack him if he tries to enter their settlements and will refuse to trade with him.

However much like BotW there are side quests along the way that will allow Link to gain favourship with these races and can even aid Link when he makes his move for Spectacle Rock. Speaking of which let's move onto Dungeons.

Dungeons are a fundamental part of Zelda and that's no exception here, there are 15 Dungeons in The Legend of Zelda (Remake).

  • Level 1 - Woodrot Tree - A Remake of the 1st dungeon from the original game, Eagle's Tree has Link using torches to solve puzzles related to Vines as well as rotating the main trunk of the tree from the outside to navigate through the dungeon.
  • Level 2 - Lost Woods Grove - A remake of the 8th dungeon from the original game, albeit not nearly as hard, Lynel's Grove has the player solve riddles regarding Lynels to progress past blockades, however failure to solve the riddles will result in the player being attacked by a Lynel.
  • Level 3 - Faron Mountain - A remake of the 2nd dungeon from the original game, this dungeon focuses on solving puzzles related to the Lunar Phases and has rooms of the dungeon that are extremely dark making it harder to navigate because of said predicament.
  • Level 4 - Zora Deep Swamp - A remake of the 3rd Dungeon from the original game, this dungeon hasn't much in the way of puzzles but rather challenges the player with navigating the dungeon where parts of the floor are deeper than they appear and can get Link trapped temporarily.
  • Level 5 - Goron Mines - The first new dungeon in the game, this dungeon focuses on solving puzzles with Crystals, the dungeon also introduces Bombable Walls to reveal secrets not shown on maps
  • Level 6 - Death Mountain Peak - A remake of the 5th Dungeon from the original game, this dungeon is covered in Lava and requires solving puzzles through use of cooling the Lava and shooting switches to reveal a secret minecart rail system that traverses the entire dungeon, the dungeon also houses the Master Sword which Ganon had desire to be destroyed but found it impossible to do so.
  • Levle 7 - Gerudo Passage - Another new dungeon, this dungeon requires solving puzzles to gain access to the upper floors through the use of sand, the Hookshot is introduced so multi-floor puzzles are also used making the dungeon a signficant bit trickier than previous dungeons.
  • Level 8 - Serpent's Island - A remake of the 4th dungeon from the original game, there is no puzzle to this dungeon, however it is remarkably harder than the other dungeons of its difficulty range, the dungeon focuses on raw power and will throw some of the toughest enemies at Link, however a direct path to the boss is relatively simple.
  • Level 9 - Kakariko Graveyard - A remake of the 6th dungeon from the original game, this dungeon focuses on tombstones and solving puzzles using the dungeon's upgrade, Fire and Ice Arrows. The dungeon is distinct for only having one locked door.
  • Level 10 - Lost Soul Icefield - Another new dungeon, Lost Soul Icefield focuses on navigating maze-like rooms that are purposefully designed to confuse the player on their location as the Map is not found until right near the end of the dungeon. Puzzles focus around moving large Ice blocks around to open up new paths.
  • Level 11 - Lanayru Mountain - Another new dungeon, Lanayru Mountain tests the player's ability to solve puzzles with the player being presented with several options on how to approach this dungeon in addition to allowing the player a multitude of options to solve said approaches, the Dungeon not only uses puzzles based around light which is its theme but also creates harder versions of puzzles from earlier dungeons.
  • Level 12 - Molded Desert Temple - Another new dungeon and quite possibly the largest dungeon in all of Zelda, Molded Desert Temple is a test of endurance, the dungeon's long linear winding set up has no warp points meaning the entire dungeon must be defeated in a single run, coupled with the very limited amount of health pick ups in the area this dungeon heavily encourages players to properly use the cooking mechanics and stock up on various items before hand.
  • Level 13 - Lynel's Palace - Another new dungeon and a throwback to the format of the old dungeons, Lynel's Palace is intended to be about Stealth, navigating past the Lynel Guards to open up new areas of the Dungeon, it helps and tests the player to truly understand the importance of sound and light in this game.
  • Level 14 - Den of Beasts - Another new Dungeon, Den of Beasts tests the player's knowledge of the game and is made easier for players who've been paying attention throughout the game to details such as recipes, enemy weapons, dungeons and their items as well as information regarding the citizens of Hyrule.
  • Level 15 - Spectacle Rock - The last dungeon and of course, a remake to the final dungeon from the original game, Spectacle Rock poses an incredibly enduring challenge as it combines the puzzle solving of Lanayru's Mountain, the Endurance of the Molded Desert Temple and enemy amounts unmatched by the other dungeons to become a true test of the player in all fields. This dungeon is intended to be as relentless as possible and enemies in the dungeon will tend to push Link in an attmept to make him fall into lava.
Zelda Remake Bosses

In The Legend of Zelda (Remake) the game features the returning Shiekah Slate which has numerous features as shown in the boss line-up above. Each dungeon contains a Shiekah Slate Pedestal except Death Mountain Peak and there are some extra Shiekah Slates that are found throughout the world in mini-dungeons. As shown below there are a total of 18 Shiekah Slates.

Zelda 1 Remake Upgrades

The Legend of Zelda: Return of the Hero[]

Next up is The Legend of Zelda: Return of the Hero, a super remake of four classic Zelda Games; Link to the Past, Link's Awakening, Oracle of Seasons and Oracle of Ages. This remake finally solidifies the stories of these four games into a cohesive plot about the Hero of Legend.

The story follows the events of all four games with some tweaks to allow for more cohesive plot points and longer games overall. The world have evolved as well with them being slightly bigger than their original appearances but not so much so like Breath of the Wild or The Legend of Zelda (Remake). As the Hero of Legend Link quests across Hyrule in Link to the Past to rescue the Sages of Hyrule to defeat Ganon who has turned the Golden Land into the Dark World. In Link's Awakening, Link having journeyed to find new adventures is struck unconcious while at see by a storm, waking up on the mysterious Koholint Island where supposedly a great Wind Fish slumbers. In Oracle of Ages after finally returning to Hyrule, Link finds that the vile Twinrova has cast a sleeping curse on Zelda and that in the distant land of Labrynna an evil Sorceress named Veran is attempting to help Twinrova in a ritual to resurrect Ganon with the Flame of Sorrow. Following Oracle of Ages, in Oracle of Seasons Link travels to Holodrum where news of a monsterous being known as Onox has plunged the land into chaos with the Seasons going haywire in an attempt to ignite the Flame of Destruction.

The game features a more classic Zelda Game without the open-endedness of Breath of the Wild but still the Non-linearity seen in earlier Zelda Games. A notable change comes to the dungeons, where previously Link's trials for items would come in small puzzles, they've now been expanded into larger side Dungeons with their own individual bosses.

Return of the Hero's Dungeons

There have been major changes to the feeling of each game as well, the notable changes are as follows;

  • Link to the Past is easier than before with the bosses being less frustrating, anti-frustration features being added and puzzles being simpler overall
  • Additional Dungeons in LttP focus on puzzles that could not be easily done in the original game and some of the later ones focus on Spacial Reasoning
  • Link's Awakening focuses much more on the concept of dreams with the major Dungeons all having a shared feature known as the Dream Pedestals, when Link steps on one of these Pedestals the entire dungeon changes with rooms being re-organized, new rooms manifesting and others just disappearing, this is most notable in the late dungeon Tortoise Mountain where there are four Dream Pedestals each influencing a quadrant of the dungeon
  • Dungeons in LA also focus on change as well, the colossal Eagle's Tower which originally starts out with 11 Floors and by the end Link condenses it down to a single floor, other dungeons like the Northern Face Shrine which is now a strange blend of the Eastern Palace and Dark Palace from Link's Awakening, Tail Cave which has you turn the Dungeon into the shape of a Moldorm and others have this focus.
  • Oracle of Ages heavily focuses on puzzles, the dungeons are notably easier with regards to enemies and combat and the bosses are weaker but trickier to find how to hurt them. The arrangement of items between Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons also means that some Bosses are defeated with completely different weapons.
  • Another important factor in Oracle of Ages is the focus on time, unlike in the original game where really only one dungeon properly utilizes time to solve it, every single dungeon in the game has some mechanic involving time, this includes five which must be solved by travelling back and forth between the past and present, several where doing something in the past impacts the present, some dungeons also include devices known as Accelorocks and Stopperocks which cause that room of the dungeon to have everything move faster or slower respectively.
  • Lastly Oracle of Seasons has a heavy focus on combat, the dungeons are notably lighter on puzzles initially while the enemies are remarkably tough, in addition there are several dungeons in Subrosia now that have physical effects on Holodrum
  • In addition the dungeons have a focus on the seasons, not only to access them but also to progress through them, each season can create different puzzles for the player to solve meaning that players can progress through a dungeon in a variety of ways, especially towards the later dungeons once all four Seasons are able to be controlled.
    • Winter has many Ice and Water Puzzles
    • Summer has many Fire and Light Puzzles
    • Spring has many Earth and Electricity Puzzles
    • Fall has many Wind and Dark Puzzles
Return of Heroes Items

There are a total of 33 Items in The Legend of Zelda: Return of the Hero, not all are available all the time however, after the Link to the Past section of the game the player loses all their items due to Koholint Island being a dream and most of Link's equipment falling to the bottom of the ocean bar his Sword and Shield, throughout Oracle of Ages and Seasons Link collects many items giving him one of his largest arsenals to date of unique items.

  • Wooden/Noble/Magical/Master Sword
  • Wooden/Hylian/Mirror Shield
  • Green/Zora/Goron Mail/ Ancient Armour

These first three items should be fairly obvious, the blade the player uses throughout the game will vary, the Master Sword notably loses charge when Link first travels to Labrynna and Holodrum and its true power is only restored once Link has rescued Nayru from Ambi's Palace in Oracle of Ages and surpassed the Temple Remains Chambers in Oracle of Seasons.

  • Power Ring/Titan's Mitt - Allows Link to lift heavy objects as well as pull heavy switches and particular enemies when they're stunned.

  • Cane of Somaria - Allows Link to create a magical block that can be used to solve puzzles as well as trap enemies.
  • Bow/Longbow (Fire, Ice, Light & Thunder Arrows) - Lets Link fire arrows of various qualities, the Longbow can penetrate multiple enemies as well as has an infinite range.
  • Hammer - Lets Link hit giant switches and activate Moles to allow him to progress to higher levels, the Hammer can also be used to flip over some enemies and stuns those that don't take damage, it can even be used to generate shockwaves which can flip floor tiles revealing hidden switches.
  • Hookshot/Longshot - This item lets Link traverse large gaps as long as there is something to reach on the other side, the Longshot provides a greater range and can also be used to damage enemies, it can also pull items to Link and de-electrifies some enemies.
  • Magnetic Gloves - Allows Link to move magnetic items around to solve puzzles, the polarity can be swapped to push them away from Link as well.
  • Subrosian Cloak - This item keeps Link covered so that he's not noticed by the Subrosians while they're in a war against the people of Holodrum, it can also be used as a predecessor to the Roc's Cape allowing Link to catch updrafts of wind to traverse floors.
  • Pegasus Boots - Lets Link charge very quickly hurting everything that stands in his way, it's also necessary for knocking objects off ledges and breaking through rubbery barriers.
  • Roc's Feather/Cape - Lets Link jump very high, the Roc's Cape also provides the added benefit of giving Link the ability to Glide.
  • Grapple Whip - Lets Link Grapple across ravines, pull switches from far away and even ascend levels via broken ladders, it can most notably be used in horizontal areas to cross pits.

  • Tornado Rod - A magical staff that creates a Whirlwind around Link, dazing enemies and lifting him up into the air, it can remove Floor tiles to reveal hidden objects and can start fans rotating to solve puzzles.
  • Fire Rod - A magical staff that sends forth a flaming pillar, this pillar can melt ice, evaporate water traps, burn ropes and start mechanical sequences.
  • Shovel - Allows Link to dig up parts of the ground to search for hidden treasures.
  • Zora Flippers - Lets Link swim much faster and even against strong currents, in addition the Zora Flippers allow for Link to swim up Waterfalls.
  • Magic Powder - This strange powder has bizarre effects when used on enemies, the most notable being that it turns Buzz Blobs into Cukemen.
  • Moon Pearl - Allows Link to travel to the Dark World without being cursed into a Rabbit form.
  • Quake Medallion - Causes an Earthquake which defeats most enemies in an area and is also used to unlock particular locations.
  • Cane of Byrna - This Cane creates a barrier around Link that makes him impervious to damage and is necessary to move along spiked floors.
  • Piccolo - This Piccolo allows Link to make many enemies fall asleep and causes Pols Voices to explode when they hear it.
  • Lens of Truth - Lets Link see invisible paths and objects as well as invisible enemies.
  • Ocarina - Only found on Koholint Island, this Ocarina is needed to play music for various purposes throughout the game, most notably to play the Wind Fish's Song to open up the dungeon's main entrance.

The Legend of Zelda: Resurrection of Soul[]

The last Zelda Game for this presentation, The Legend of Zelda: Resurrection of Soul, a successor and direct sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, taking place nearly 5 millenia after its predecessor the game aims to expand on Breath of the Wild for a grander adventure whil still maintaining the open-endedness and greatly increasing on the lore around Breath of the Wild.

Giant Map 1Giant Map 2Giant Map 3Giant Map 4Giant Map 5Giant Map 6Giant Map 7Giant Map 8Giant Map 9

The biggest Hyrule has ever been, in the time between Breath of the Wild and Resurrection of Soul, all the races have flourished, now having expanded their territories and formed true kingdoms. New species that lived far away have come into the sphere of civilization in Hyrule.

Tokay

The Tokay, a strange and somewhat greedy lizard race, these tropical dwelling creatures live on what's known as Tokay Island, evidence shows that Hylians used to inhabit this island however for unknown reasons, even to the Tokay they left. The Tokay are extremely friendly to those who offer them something to eat and many Town Cooks consider them excellent patrons. The Gorons don't particularly like the Tokay as the Tokay find Goron quisine inedible (because it's rocks) and the Gorons find Tokay quisine inedible (because it tends to be rotten).

Anouki

The Anouki, a strange race of Hylian looking fellows, they are the second smallest Civilized Species in Hyrule being only slightly taller than Koroks. They are a suspicious lot and are fairly guarded against outsiders, they live primarily on Mount Hylia in small villages and towns and some are known to live on their own. They are a hardy bunch and love the cold, some Hylian women consider them adorable while Gerudo women tend to consider them weak and annoying. The Anouki tend to converse with Hylian Traders in the Shiekah & Hylian Territory to trade for fish since the climate of Hyrule limits their fishing locations.

OceaiteKokiri Male ArtworkPlatuan

Oceaites, Kokiri & Platuans are three off-shoots of Hylians that evolved over the years that passed becoming distinct and remarkably culturally different from Hylians themselves.

Oceaites are a cros-bred race between Hylians and Gerudo, after a segment of the Gerudo population migrated towards the coast they mixed with Hylians creating a new race over many generations. Oceaites are a formidable race who are known for being both the best Fishers and Pirates in all of Hyrule. Oceaites command the southern Ocean ways of Hyrule with their powerful ships, and are known to have a strong control over the fishing industry.

The Kokiri are a strange evolution that occured as some Hylians began worshipping the Deku Trees as gods, due to generations staying in the ever expanding Faron Jungle, their bodies shrunk to fit their environment and they became remarkably more athletic allowing them to move among the trees as easily as the monkeys of the region. The Kokiri consider themselves to be the guardians of the Deku Tree and will fiercly defend it from outsiders requiring them to prove their worth before they will permit conversation.

Lastly, the Platuans are a race of Hylians notable for being the largest Humanoid race in Hyrule standing at around 8ft tall, their giant size is considered to be due to generations of living on the Ancient Plateau and around it where the most fertile soil in all of Hyrule exists, the Platuans also live for extremely long amounts of time with some nearly reaching 200 years in their life time. Platuans are a peaceful group and tend to be simple farmers, they are less technologically developed than other humanoid races and tend to be confused by the armies of Hylians believing the armoured soldiers to be a completely different race to Hylians.

Lynel

The Lymura are evolutionary relatives of Lynels, they split off from their original race, becoming more intelligent and capable of speech. Although many were hesitant of them their ability to communicate and willingness to help the various races in manual labour has secured them as being a trusted race in Hyrule. Lymura get along extrodinarily well with Gorons as both races love to test their strength on one another and the Gorons benefit greatly from the added strength of Lymuras.

Lizalfos BotW

The Kodofos are another race that evolved from a previous enemy of the Hylians, they are evolutionary relatives of Lizalfos which splintered into several species as they expanded across Hyrule. Although the Kodofos are the only intelligent race to appear from Lizalfos they seem to be able to communicate with the others. They are trusted by the Koroks and Kokiri who protect them from the various creatuers that inhabit the Faron Jungles.

Races

As you can see there are many races in Hyrule now and each one is interlinked with the story, which we'll now get into.

The prophecy of Ganon's return had come and past, a legend in history along with that of the Heroes of the Sky, Time and Twilight, the Hero of the Wild was told to all throughout the millenia. However during this time of recovery scholars searched the ancient ruins of Hyrule Castle and came upon ancient buried sections from Hyrule's previous conflicts, there upon they found ancient words that opened up the Temple of Time, the secrets within the Temple revealed the history of Ganon and Demise, revealing that reincarnations of the Demon Lord, the Goddess and the Noble Warrior were destined to appear seemingly for all time, however with Ganon defeated it seemed that the Demon Lord's cycle had ended. However strange incantations were scribbled on these ancient books which told of a sword that was as powerful as the Master Sword but with an heart of pure evil.

With a sword of such power, the scholars pleaded to the royal family to search for and destroy the sword but it was never uncovered, its strange yet distinct markings would make it stand out but no matter where across Hyrule they searched the ancient blade lay dormant. However five millenia have passed and new Noble Heroes and reincarnations of the Goddess had risen and fallen, keeping Hyrule in prosperity and security, however the ominous drums of destruction began to beat once more, strange beasts from ancient times had returned and now inhabit Hyrule and Mount Hylia's snowy winds blow more violently than ever before.

The Scholars at the behest of the Royal Family consulted with the Shiekah, an ancient and noble race of people with great powers in Shadow Magic on what these omens meant and the Shiekah in their visions saw it, the blade the Scholars had been searching for, reborn in a demonic form that would destroy Hyrule through an ancient revival. The Noble Hero of this generation, Link whom had been raised under the Royal Knights of Hyrule to become the greatest warrior was tasked with finding the precise whereabouts of this demon and ending him, while Link had been trained greatly though, he was still young, having not experienced life beyond the reach of Castle City and its fields Link's task seemed near impossible.

The Shiekah also send the Royal Family a message soon after Link has left on his journey informing the royal family that Champions of the Goddess would arise from the races and while Link was one, the others would require his courage to be awakened if Link was to truly stand a chance against the darkness that was to soon befall Hyrule. With this message relayed to Link whom had arrived at the ancient Ruins of the old Hyrule Castle, he knew that with or without the help of the Champions of the Goddess he would have to find and face the demonic presence wherever it lay.

Dungeons

Moving onto Dungeons, as you can see there are numerous dungeons in the game featuring a whole host of baddies. If you look back at the map you'll see the numbers 1-24, those correlate with these dungeons, so their position should help. The dungeons are massive entities that outsize even the dungeons of Breath of the Wild, the dungeons focus on various concepts for puzzles. While to truly complete the game all 24 Dungeons must be completed, only the absolute last dungeon needs to be taken on to beat the game, however the other dungeons make both the final dungeon and the final boss fight easier, and some dungeons are required to be completed to access certain other dungeons.

In regards to the dungeons themselves, aside from the two-parter dungeons the dungeons can be tackled in any order, if tackled at all, each dungeon helps build the character development of one of the other Heroes (usually in pairs) with one of the Temples completing their character arc and leading to that character willing to help Link directly when he goes for Great Skyward Temple. The dungeons revolving around each Hero are as follows;

  • Link - Sundial Tower, Garden of Light, Tomb of Rhoam & Shining Temple
  • Aria - Twisted Tepths, Ancient Deku Tree, Temple of Time
  • Yiel - Bewildering Cave, Ancient Deku Tree, Temple of Time
  • Dakramai - Eldin Passages, Rubyite Cavern, Volcanic Temple
  • Aklamabb - Black Murk Swamp, Abyssal Temple
  • Krimose - Jabu-Jabu Waterfall, Black Murk Swamp, Abyssal Temple
  • Impa - Shadow Canyon, Undying Temple
  • Kirumia - Burning Pyramid, Jeweled Temple
  • Dono - Colosseum of Trials, Jeweled Temple
  • Xanzer - Snowlight Tower, Cloud Temple
  • Joupree - Snowlight Tower, Cloud Temple
  • Vergmaro - Eldin Passages, Rubyite Cavern, Volcanic Temple
  • Doxari - Mirage Castle, Lonesome Temple
  • Ak'Alil - Mirage Castle, Lonesome Temple

In addition to the 24 Dungeons in this game, there are 288 Mini-Dungeons, known as the Trials of the Goddesses, these dungeons were created by the Godesses to test Link's sheer will and come in three variants; Din's Trials of Power which reward the player with a Heart Piece, Nayru's Trials of Wisdom which reward the player with a Magicka Piece and Farore's Trials of Courage which reward the player with a Stamina Piece.

Each trial completed will increase Link's Health, Magicka or Stamina slightly, unlike previous Zelda Games these are direct upgrades meaning that Link will gain 1/4 of a Heart, 1/10th of a Magicka Bar or 1/8th of a Stamina Wheel. In total between the main Dungeons rewarding Link with a complete Heart Container each and these additional Mini-Dungeons, Link can earn 47 complete Hearts, 10 additional Magicka Bars and 12 additional Stamina Wheels. While this may seem excessive it is notable that the more main dungeons Link completes the harder most enemies will get, in addition enemies become incredibly powerful around Mt. Hylia especially towards the Great Skyward Temple where the most powerful Darknut can wipe off 10 Hearts in a single strike. Speaking of enemies.

Resurrection of Soul Enemies

Due to The Legend of Zelda: Resurrection of Soul being the second Zelda Game on the Switch and using the same artstyle and merely updated visuals, the development allowed for much greater creativity when it came to the enemy variation in the game. A total of 144 Enemy Types appear in Resurrection of Soul with many have colour variants to determine their natural strength. Enemies from all across Zelda appear in this game with Pyrups from Skyward Sword, Swamolas from Link Between Worlds, even the rare Anubis from Ocarina of Time. The enemies are not necessarily found in all areas of Hyrule but instead tend to be relegated to particular areas of the map, some enemies (the ones with rainbow backgrounds behind their names) can be found everywhere although tend to be less of a threat than the region specific enemies. The combat in the game has also evolved to incorporate some of Zelda's more bizarre enemies, many enemies offer different challenges in how they are fought, while Moblins and Bokoblins will straight up attack Link trying to hit him as frequently as possible other enemies like Darknuts and Lynels are more strategic and will adapt to Link's strategies if he repeats himself too much, other enemies like Lobarriers and Geldmen need specific methods to be defeated and enemies like the Bubbles need Link to think about his environment when facing them as their defeat lies in his surroundings. Of course most enemies will fall from a good wallop from a blade or two which brings us to weapons.

Resurrection of Soul Weapons

By far one of the largest line ups of Weapons for a Zelda game, Resurrection of Soul features a colossal 304 Weapons ranging from tiny Daggers to the twice as big as Link Biggoron Sword. Weapons even come in strange varieties like the Gerudo Whistlerange, a Boomerang with the added benefit of being one of the few ways to kill a Pols Voice. Like in Breath of the Wild all weapons except for the Master Sword will eventually break after extended use and the Master Sword can still run out of charge, however new to Resurrection of Soul is the enhanced crafting system, just because a weapon's busted doesn't mean that it can no longer serve a purpose, when a weapon breaks it will add itself to Link's inventory as half of the materials needed to make it (the materials it becomes are always the most common of its components), which means that if Link has the necessary extra components and can find a Smithy, Bowyer or Sorcerer then Link can have the weapon rebuilt, notably when an item breaks if it was enhance in some way then creating a weapon out of its components will yield enhancements as well.

Anyways, I think that's enough information about The Legend of Zelda: Resurrection of Soul, stay tuned because in the coming days the pages for all the games in this presentation will be created, thanks for reading.
