Fantendo is a Wiki that was created in 2007. Our community has grown tremendously since then, with so many great additions to our userbase and our content. Our administration has grown as well; our administrators are supportive and humorous.
Since 2007, we've grown to have over 42,000 articles from enthusiastic video game fans. It would be nice to have more great additions to our wiki from new users to the community! If you're going to join, don't be afraid to introduce yourself with a blogpost!

April 14, 2022: Fantendo celebrates its 15th Anniversary!
February 9, 2022: In Nintendo's first Nintendo Direct of 2022, many headlines were announced for Nintendo Switch, including Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes, Mario Strikers: Battle League, Nintendo Switch Sports and Xenoblade Chronicles 3. In addition, some games were announced to have content being added in 2022. This included Metroid Dread receiving a free update following the direct including two new difficulty modes, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe receiving an expansion pass, which will add 48 tracks to the game across 6 waves. EarthBound and EarthBound Beginnings were also revealed to be added to Nintendo Switch Online.
September 23, 2021: In the second Nintendo Direct of 2021, Nintendo revealed the cast for the Super Mario Movie; the last Super Smash Bros Ultimate character will be revealed on October 5th, 2021; More news about new additions to Animal Crossing New Horizons will be revealed next month; Chocobo GPCastlevania Advanced Collection are coming to the Switch; Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis games are coming to Switch Online; Nintendo release the first look at Bayonetta 3; Mario Party Super Stars will be released on October 29th, 2021.
June 29, 2021: Kazuya has released for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!
June 15, 2021: Kazuya will release for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on June 29.
February 17, 2021: In the first Nintendo Direct of 2021, Nintendo revealed that Pyra and Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 are coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate; the first two Famicom Detective Club titles are getting localized for the first time into English, and releasing on May 14, 2021; The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is releasing in July alongside custom Joy-Cons; a new instalment of the Mario Golf series, Mario Golf: Super Rush, will release this June; Miitopia is coming to the Nintendo Switch on May 23; and Splatoon 3 is releasing in 2022! Other headlines include: Fall Guys is coming to the Nintendo Switch this summer; Square Enix announced a new tactical role-playing game tentatively titled Project TRIANGLE STRATEGY; downloadable content is coming to Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity; Outer Wilds is coming to the Switch this summer; the next entry in Koei Tecmo's Samurai Warriors series, Samurai Warriors 5, will release this summer; and Tookyo Games' World's End Club is releasing on the Nintendo Switch this May.
October 13, 2020: Steve has released for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate!
October 3, 2020: Steve will release for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on October 13 along with Mii Fighter costumes based on Minecraft's Creeper, Pig, and Diamond Armor as well as Gil from Tower of Druaga, Bomberman, and Travis Touchdown from No More Heroes. amiibo figures for Banjo & Kazooie, Terry, and Byleth have also been announced.
October 1, 2020:Steve from Minecraft has been announced as the second fighter included in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Fighters Pass Vol. 2, with alternate skins based on Alex and the game's Zombie and Enderman enemies! A "Mr. Sakurai Presents" video will premiere on October 3, with Sakurai going into detail on Steve's moveset. You can discuss the announcement here.
Dimensional Deuce is an umbrella sports game developed by Cool Detective and released on the Nintendo Switch. It features many characters from different franchises and media playing tennis. The game takes much inspiration from the Mario Tennis series.(read more)
