Erztli, The Secret Odyssey, is a 2D Platformer game Released for the XSTAR System. It was designed by Cross Inc and Wayforward as a tie in to the 23rd Inton Games in Lima, Peru.
Story[]
After hearing that his oldest cousin, The Noid, is filming an Indiana Jones style movie in Hollywood, Erztli, The official Intonnler Mascot of the Lima 23rd Inton Games becomes persuaded to explore actual Incan ruins in his home country of Peru, rather than go to Machu Pichu like planned, he finds himself in a mysterious forbidden pyramid, not seen on Google image results or Peruvian tourist guidebook, he decided to enter this strange pyramid.
However, as Erztli continues to explore the temple, is started to become obvious that it's Haunted, filled with large canyons, underwater chambers and pitch black rooms.when Erztli arrived at the throne room he met the leaser of all the ghosts in the pyramids, El Grabber. a vengeful ghost of a former chief who has scared previous explorers out of his temple with all the traps and enemies you saw throughout the game. however, with the Bravery Erztli worked up on the adventure, he managed to defeat El Grabber and win the treasure he was guarding
Gameplay[]
Much like Deadly Six: Zazz's Solo Slash, Erztli Controls similar to 90s 2D Platformer with pixel graphics. in normal mode his main attack is a pacifier spit, similar to Virtual Bart, which doesn't do so too much damage but is easily rapid fired. Across the game you will find power up medals, which transforms Erztli into various sport themed modes.

Normal Level Modes[]
- Archery, A More Powerful Ranged attack.
- Boxing, a Melee attack with the option to charge up a powerful punch
- Squash, not as powerful as archery, but there is melee move and the ball ricochets off walls.
- Roller Skating, You move much faster and can attack enemies by just rolling into them fast enough.

- Air Sports, A Hanglider for Canyon Levels
- Aquatics, Swim in underwater levels
- Gymnastics, Swing across Spin poles.
Erztli has 5 Hit Points, indicated by the amount of feathers on his headdress, is you lose them all, you lose a life, lose all your lives and it's game over. health is restored with collectable feathers.

- Erztli. The Main Character and the Lima 23rd Inton Mascot, He is a history buff and an energetic toddler.
- Gogju. The Mascot of the 9th Inton Games in Busan. he is a DJ And Shows up on the Sound Check screen
- Wessie. One of the 3 Mascots of the 15th Inton Games in Coffs Harbour, he provides advice on the Loading screens.
- The Noid. The Oldest Cousin of the Intonnlers. he was mentioned several times in the Manual and the opening cutscene
- El Grabber. the Main Antagonist of the Game. he is responsible for all the Ghosts in the temple
Trivia[]
- Depending on what difficulty you chosen, whenever you lose a life, Erztli would Cry Differently. on Easy mode, he would cry Hysterically and shake the screen as if to say "How did you mess that up" on hard mode it's more subtle, as if he was expecting you to lose a few times.
