The physical appearance of a Dull Bones.
Species Origin Dry Bones
Alignment Evil
Weapon(s) Bones
First Appearance Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
Koopa Troop

Dull Bones are weaker variations of Dry Bones. They first appeared in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door as enemies, and reappeared in Super Paper Mario before vanishing from canon Mario titles.

Unlike Dry Bones, Dull Bones cannot put themselves back together once they are shattered; others, however, can fix their parts if they happen to come across them while walking. They can also throw bones that zoom across the screen until they go off the edge. In platformers, they may act like green-shelled Koopa Troopas and walk off platforms and cliffs, similar to how Dry Bones stay on their platforms like red-shelled Koopas.
