Dragon Coins (also called Yoshi Coins) are uncommon items in the Mario series, that first appear in Super Mario World.They are 5 in each level. If the player collects all of them, he will get a 1-Up. Star Coins replace them in most of the newer games.

Super Mario Evolution[]
After a long absence, Dragon Coins reappear in Super Mario Evolution. Like the Star Coins, they allow the player to unlock new paths if he collects enough of them.
