Denzel Pyrotic is a playable character in the Doom Dome Battle series who makes his first appearance in Doom Dome Battle 2. An alternate future version of him plays a major role in Mission Alpha, this is also the version that created Cyberno.α. He is the son of Nikolai Pyrotic and M.O.M. although actually being the former's clone.

NEO, the New Entertainment Operator, is a robot created by Denzel. Many versions exists but this one is special as it has its own conscience. A single unit made its debut in the first game and appears as a duo character with Denzel in de second game. Future units of NEO appear in Mission Alpha.

Gameplay[]

Denzel fights inside of his NEO, this the robot doing most of the fighting. It is a slow and bulky character but has some moved with speed incorporated from the jetpack on its back. NEO has stretching arms with one having a magnet pliers and the other one having a blaster. NEO likes to keep its opponents at a distance to protect Denzel and is less good in close combat.

Their Doom Attack is Please Insert Coin. Denzel activates a special button which opens a door in NEO with a 4D cube inside of it which sucks the opponent in. They find themselves in a video game reminiscent of the Pac-Maze. Space Invaders release a barrage of bullets on the opponent, followed by a Pac-Man running them over, sending them flying into a Tetris fall which crushes them and they are spit out. If KO'd the opponent will still be spit out but glitches on the ground.

Denzel was created as a clone of Nikolai, with the original intent to transfer his consciousness to him for when he got too old. Nikolai also made M.O.M., a robot that would take care of him. Nikolai worked on experiments with him, preparing his brain to fit his and along the way did develop fatherly feelings for him. Denzel however despised his father and became estranged from him. He fled alongside M.O.M. and vowed to never go back. At a young age he became a successful engineer and created NEO, a line of household robots which earned him quite a lot of wealth.

He made a personal NEO for himself which would also act as his bodyguard among other things. This NEO is much smarter than the others and seems to have a consciousness. He likes playing video games with NEO and makes silly jokes. When Denzel heard of his father's passing he decided he would return to Wildefort to pay his respects.

Doom Dome Battle 2[]

Upon arriving in Wildefort, Denzel would pay respect to his father at his grave, having heard of his demise. Afterwards he decided to take over Pyrotic Inc. and shape it in his own image, working closely with Mayor Bucksalot. Denzel however had collected several organs of his father which could still work and placed them in a robotic body and uploading his consciousness to it, reviving him in essence. He would take revenge on his father by making him his robot slave, just like he made M.O.M.

Eventually Terminus X9 came to take Denzel down and reclaim the place for Nikolai but was forced to fight his master in this new robotic form. Nonetheless he defeated him and Terminus X9 was employed by Denzel. When Nikolai returned in his upgraded form he wanted to make amends, Denzel would consider it and try to form a bond with his new father.

He shares many of his references with his father, his main inspiration is from Dexter from Dexter's Laboratory.
- Unlike his father, his personality is also more like Dexter's instead of Dr. Robotnik.
His first design was drastically different:
- He was a bit older in his first version, now his age is the same as the other teens in the story.
- He doesn't have the cyborg arm like his father once had.
- NEO was incorporated into his character to make use of the robot.
NEO in this new design is largely based off Mechanica from ARMS.
