Final Smash Arcade

Donkey Kong is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Calamity. Donkey Kong is usually the nemesis of the infamous plumber Mario (known as Jumpman at the time), but in some games he is an ally of Mario and stars in multiple other games along with the rest of his Kong friends. Donkey Kong goes on multiple tropical adventures with his pal Diddy Kong and many others to save his island from menaces like King K. Rool and many others that threaten the island.

Changes

Nerf Alternate side smash to match the one used in Smash 64, which is weaker.

Buff Forward aerial is stronger and is now a spike.

Buff Donkey Kong's forward throw angled downwards in the air has a new animation, in which he tosses them beneath him with both arms. This can meteor smash opponents and can set them up for a down aerial.

Nerf New neutral special which, while similar to Diddy Kong's Peanut Popgun, deals less damage than his former neutral special and cannot be charged.

Notice New Final Smash; Arcade. The move is a direct reference to the original Donkey Kong arcade game, in which Donkey Kong tosses barrels at Jumpman in order to stop him from saving Pauline.

Victory theme Click here to listen!

Victory pose #1 Donkey Kong rapidly beats his chest and then faces the screen while sporting a toothy grin.
Victory pose #2 Donkey Kong performs a backflip and then strikes a flexing pose. It appears very similar to his "character chosen" animation in Super Smash Bros. and this game.
Victory pose #3 Donkey Kong clenches his hands together and shakes them overhead in a self-congratulatory manner.
"Boxer DK" victory pose Donkey Kong gets into a defensive stance before doing two alternating hooks before doing an uppercut, facing the screen with a grin. This victory pose only plays when Donkey Kong wins while in his "Boxer DK" costume.

Alternates

Donkey Kong has an alternate costume that makes him look like a boxer, similar to how he appeared in Punch Out!! for the Nintendo Wii, along with two other palette swaps. This changes his neutral special back to Giant Punch.
