Dimensional Deuce is an umbrella sports game developed by Cool Detective and released on the Nintendo Switch, Z-Lunar ZCLIPSE and Nymbus. It features many characters from different franchises and media playing tennis. The game takes much inspiration from the Mario Tennis series.

Gameplay

As said before, the game has the players participate in matches of tennis, having them hit the ball back and forth until one of them misses the ball, granting the other player points. By default, once a player lands a succesful shot, they will be grant 15 points, and once they reach the 40 mark, they will need to score one more time to win the game. If both players reach 40 points, the game is put on a stage of "Deuce", where one of them will need to score twice in a row in order to win.

Once a player wins a certain number of games (by default 2), they will win the set, and winning a certain number of sets will allow them to win the match. If both players tie in the set, they'll be put on a tiebreaker, where the first player to score seven times wins the set.

The game has different shot types that can be perfomed by the players, with each of them having different speeds and trajectories. Most notably, the characters have special moves that can be performed by spending Energy, which can be filled by rallying the ball or charging shots. These special moves are Special Shots, which allow the player to make the ball more difficult to be received by the opponent, and Special Saves, which allow the player the retrieve the ball from far away distances. These shots can be turned off in the Rules menu.

Controls

Controls are shown as seen on the Nintendo Switch version.

• C-Stick: Move and aim shots
• A: A Topspin shot, which is fast and has a high trajectory.
• B: A Slice shot, which is slow and has a low trajectory.
• Y: A Flat shot, which is fast and has a straight trajectory.
• Up + X: A Lob shot, which sends the ball up into the air.
• Down + X: A Drop shot, which leaves the ball close to the net.
• R or ZR + A: Special Shot
• R or ZR + B: Special Save

Game Modes

Tourney

In this mode, the player is pit against CPU opponents in a tournament format, playing multiple matches to win the tourney. There are multiple cups to pick, with each of them increasing in difficulty. The cups are unlocked by beating the previous cup. A Doubles Tourney is also available, which can be played by two players.

Open Tournaments

These cups are available initially.

• Yoinky Cup: 1-set starting round and semifinals, 3-set finals.
• Vaccum Cup: 1-set starting round, 3-set semifinals and finals.
• Based Cup: 1-set starting round, 3-set semifinals, 5-set finals.

Star Tournaments

These cups are unlocked after beating every Open cup, and feature harder CPUs.

• Society Cup: 1-set starting round and semifinals, 3-set finals.
• Deez Cup: 1-set starting round, 3-set semifinals and finals.
• Redge from KillGames 2 Cup: 1-set starting round, 3-set semifinals, 5-set finals.

Exhibition

The game's free play mode, where up to 4 players can play matches locally or against CPU opponents. The rules are customizable, allowing the player to pick the number of games and sets required to win the match, turn on or off special moves, and choosing the CPU's difficulty.

Online

Online mode allows players to play tennis with other people online. The player can choose to play matches with friends or to face off against random people around the world. By winning aginst random opponents, the player can increase their ranking, but it will decrease if they lose. If two people are playing locally, the option to play Doubles online is also available.

Special Games

Special Games are alternative modes that feature different rules from normal gameplay. Most of these are single-player focused, but some can be played by multiple people. Each of them feature different difficulties that can be played, being Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.

• Ring Shot: Originating from Mario Tennis, the player scores by hitting the ball through rings that appear over the net. Rings get bigger the more the ball is rebound, with the smaller rings being worth more points. The player gets more points by hitting multiple rings with one shot, and they win by scoring a certain amount of points within the time limit. This mode has a multiplayer mode, where each player takes a side of the court, to either work together to gain the most points, or compete to see who scores higher.
• Piranha Challenge: The second special mode originating from Mario Tennis, the game features piranha plants spitting balls at the player. In order to score, the player must return these balls without having the opponent hit it. If the player misses a ball, or the opponent hits one, they'll lose one try out of three. Losing all of these tries will end the game. To win, the player must score a certain amount of points before losing all tries.
• Galaxy Rally: The third special mode originating from Mario Tennis, this mode has the player rally the ball with a Luma from Super Mario Galaxy. The player gains points every time they succesfully rebound the ball, but there are shrinking tiles on Luma's side, which disappear every time the ball is returned, revealing a black hole which the player can't let the ball fall in. Failing to hit the ball or letting it fall in the black hole will make the player lose one try out of three. Higher difficulties have more tiles disappear at once. The player wins by scoring a certain amount of points before losing all tries.
• Egg Catcher: Inspired by the Kirby sub-game of the same name, the player must return eggs that are rapidly shot at the player, with each successful hit being worth one point. Sometimes, a bomb will be shot at the court, which the player must avoid, or else they'll be stunned for a moment. The player wins by scoring a certain amount of points within the time limit.
• Zombie Takedown: Inspired by the Plants vs. Zombies series, this mode has the layer defend a house from a hoard of said game's zombies. The player can defeat the zombies by hitting them with the ball, but some of them wear traffic cones and buckets on their head, which means they need to be hit multiple times to be defeated. The player loses if the zombies cathc up to them. To win, the player must defeat a certain number of zombies. This mode has a multiplayer version, which either has both player defend the house, or has them compete for who defeats the most zombies.
• Dalgona Candy Challenge: A giant dalgona candy is displayed on a wall on the other side of the court, with breakable parts around a pattern in the center. The player must hit these breakable parts to carve the pattern, while avoiding hitting the outer area. If the player misses too many times, the candy will crack and the game will end. Harder difficulties feature harder patterns.
• Boss Bash: A very unique special mode, this has the player face off against bosses, requiring them to use different strategies to defeat these powerful foes. All boss battles have a time limit, and the players lose time whenever they miss a ball or get hit by an attack. To win, the player must defeat the boss within the time limit. Characters

Dimensional Deuce features a total of 44 characters at launch, with half of them being starter, and half unlockable. In a similar vein to Mario Tennis Aces, after the game's release, extra characters were released as free downloadable content every month, which were each available one month earlier for players who participated in the online mode. A total of ? characters were added this way.

They're divided based on their attributes:

• Balanced characters are well-rounded, having no real pros or cons.
• Technical characters have better control of the ball, but lack speed or power.
• Speedy characters have quick movement, but are lacking in power.
• Powerful characters can shoot the ball at high speeds, but often have low speed.
• Defensive characters have high reach, but have lower stats.
• Tricky characters can curve their shots well, but don't have a lot of reach.

Starter Characters

Shy Guy Mario
	Shy Guys are a common enemy in the Mario franchise. Their first appearance was in Super Mario Bros. 2, where they helped Wart conquer the Subcon. They have since returned in many other games, including many spin-off titles. They are most recognizable due to their masks, which they are always wearing because of their shyness. Shy Guy is a Balanced character.
Special Shot: Lightning Spear- Shy Guy turns into a Spear Guy, summoning a lightning bolt which hits the ball back. Returning this shot will cause the opponent to be shrunk and slowed down for a bit.	Special Save: Tornado Return- Shy Guy turns into a Fly Guy, before creating a tornado which scoops up the ball, allowing Shy Guy to return it.
Theme: Ground Theme - Super Mario Bros. 2 (Ultimate Remix)

King Dedede Kirby
	King Dedede is a recurring character in the Kirby series. The self-proclaimed king of Dream Land, he started as an antagonist, when he, along with several thieves, stole all of the food on Dream Land. However, he has since shown to be caring for the wellbeing of this kingdom, allying with Kirby to take down powerful enemies in order to protect Dream Land. King Dedede is a Powerful character, and uses his hammer as a racket.
Special Shot: Jet Hammer- King Dedede causes jet propulsions to come out of his hammer, before using it to hit the ball and send it at high speeds. Returning this shot will cause the opponent to be knocked back heavily.	Special Save: Waddle Dee Return- King Dedede calls a Waddle Dee , who runs in the court and returns the ball.

Morshu The Legend of Zelda
	Morshu is a character from the The Legend of Zelda series. Appearing in Link: The Faces of Evil as the shopkeeper of the Goronu general store, where he will sell you itens such as lamp oil, rope and bombs, as long as you have enough rupees. Morshu is a Technical character.
Special Shot: Lamp Oil Shot - Morshu returns the ball while throwing lamp oil to the opponent's side, which create fire pillars that limit their movement.	Special Save: Rope Return- Morshu pulls out rope in order to pull the ball towards himself, allowing him to return it.
Theme: Goronu Shop - Link: The Faces of Evil

Dr. Eggman Sonic the Hedgehog
	Dr. Eggman is the main antagonist of the Sonic The Hedgehog series. An evil scientist and arch-nemesis to Sonic, Eggman dreams of taking over the world in order to establish his Eggman Empire. The doctor’s plans consist of turning animals into robots and creating huge armies to dominate the land. Unfortunatly for him, his plans always end up failing due to Sonic and friends. However, his efforts are still a great threat to the universe. Dr. Eggman is a Powerful character and flies on his egg mobile during the match.
Special Shot: Missile Shot- Dr. Eggman shoots the ball while firing missiles from a launcher. Getting hit by these will cause the opponent to be stunned for a bit.	Special Save: Egg Mobile-H- Dr. Eggman makes a wrecking ball come out from below the Egg Mobile, before hitting the ball with it.
Theme: Theme of Dr. Eggman - Sonic Adventure

Bomberman Bomberman
	White Bomberman is the main character of the Bomberman series. While his portrayal varies between games, he is always seen as heroic, cheerful, yet clumsy. He is an inhabitant of Planet Bomber, and has the ability to generate bombs. He is often saving his world from huge threats. Bomberman is a Balanced character.
Special Shot: Bomb Shot- Bomberman transforms the ball into a bomb before returning it. If the opponent doesn't return it befor the first bounce, it explodes, automatically granting Bomberman a score.	Special Save: Skate Save- Bomberman runs towards the ball while wearing roller shoes, before returning it.

All of Bomberman's alternate costumes replace him with characters from Bomberman Land Wii. Replaced with Cool Black. Replaced with Samurai Bomber. Replaced with Galloping Bomber. Replaced with Pharaoh Bomber.

Enderman Minecraft
	Endermen are mobs from Minecraft. Originating from The End dimension, endermen are often found as neutral mobs, however, all that's needed is someone staring into its eyes for it to be provoked. These mobs have the ability to teleport and pick up blocks, but aren’t the biggest fans of water. Slaying one allows the player to obtain an ender pearl, giving them the ability to teleport. Enderman is a Tricky character.
Special Shot: Ender Shot- Enderman calls the powerful Ender Dragon, which fires the ball by spitting it. If the opponent returns the ball, flames will be left near them, which can burn and stun them for a moment.	Special Save: Teleport Save- Enderman simply teleports to the ball, before returning it.
Theme: Halland / Dalarna - Minecraft Dungeons (Ultimate Remix)

Terry Bogard Fatal Fury
	Terry Bogard is the main protagonist of the Fatal Fury series, and a character in King of Fighters. As an orphan, he had to raise himself on the streets along with his brother, until they were adopted by Jeff Howard and eventually lived in Southtown. Until one day, when he witnessed the death of his father by the hands of Geese Howard. Terry and his brother Andy have then swore to fine tune their martial arts skills in order to avenge their father. Terry is a Defensive character.
Special Shot: Power Dunk- Terry performs a high jump towards the ball, before punching it with a flaming fist. The ball is shot at high speeds, and at an angle that makes it hard to return.	Special Save: Power Geyser- Terry punches the ground, causing an energy explosion to appear below the ball, sending it back to the opponent.
Theme: Kurikinton - FATAL FURY 2 (Ultimate Remix)

Demoman Team Fortress 2
	Demoman is one of the playable classes in Team Fortress 2. A scottish mercenary with a passion for explosives and scrumpy, the scottish cyclops is equipped with his grenade launcher and sticky bomb launcher to cause mayhem. Demoman is a Defensive character.
Special Shot: Caber Toss - Demoman jumps in the air, before firng the ball out of his grenade launcher, while also firing grenades at the opponent's side, which stun them if they're hit by the exlosion.	Special Save: The Targe Charge- Demoman equips the Chargin' Targe, before dashing towards the ball and returning it.
Theme: Drunken Pipe Bomb - Team Fortress 2

Faust Guilty Gear
	Faust is a recurring character in the Guilty Gear. Once a highly-regarded surgeon, he went insane after losing a patient. However, he regained his sanity after fighting in the Second Holy Order Selection Tournament, and now roams around the world helping those in need, while searching for the true killer of his patient. Faust is a Tricky character.
Special Shot: What Could This Be? - Faust returns the ball along with random itens. These include a bomb, which knocks the opponent back, chibi Fausts, which harass the opponent, poison, which slows them down, and helium gas, which simply makes their voice high-pitched.	Special Save: From Above- Faust covers himself a blanket, causing him to disappear. He then reappears above the ball, allowing him to return it.

Adol Ys
	Adol is the main protagonist of the Ys series. A swordsman known as "Adol the Red", he is shown to have an incredible knack for adventure and helping those in need, and always seems to arrive at the right place at the wrong time, mostly due to his bad luck with shipwrecks. Adol is a Balanced character.
Special Shot: Cardinal Shot - Adol imbues his sword with arcane energy, before hitting the ball, sending it at immense speeds. If the receiver returns this shot, they'll be knocked back.	Special Save: Crimson Line- Adol quickly flies to the ball, while covered in a crimson energy, before returning it.
Theme: Glessing Way! - Ys IX: Monstrum Nox
Alternate Costumes
Adol's classic appearance. Adol's appearance in Ys: Memories of Celceta. Adol's appearance in Ys VII: Lacrimosa of Dana. Adol's classic appearance, but Adol is a shark.

Noob Roblox
	Noob is the classic default skin in Roblox, a MMORPG which allows players to create their own virtual worlds and interact with other people. Noob himself appears as a yellow blocky person with blue shirt and green pants. While his name may appear to be an insult, he's got more than enough skills at games, and has got plenty of tools up his sleeves. Noob is a Speedy character.
Special Shot: Rocket Launcher - Noob returns the ball by firing it out of a rocket launcher. If the oponent returns the ball, the rocket explodes and knocks them back.	Special Save: Speed Coil- Noob equips a speed coil, which increases his speed and allows him to run to the ball.
Theme: Here We Go - Giants of Industry
Alternate Costumes
Replaced by a Guest. Noob's "Bacon Hair" design. Replaced by Builderman. Replaced by the default Zombie NPC.

Diana Brawlhalla
	Diana is a character from the game Brawlhalla. She was once the leader of the Order of the Exalted Lion, whose objective is to protect society from the supernatural, where she was a legendary monster hunter, until she fell into a trap of her own, corrupted, Order, and seized by dark magic. She was, however, offered a place in Valhalla, where she’s now a fierceful fighter, still plotting the destruction of monsters. Diana is a Defensive character.
Special Shot: Hunter Shot - Diana releases quicksilver bombs on the opponent's side, which will stun them if they're hit. She then returns the ball by shooting it.	Special Save: Grapple Save- Diana fires an arrow attached to a rope at the ball, before flinging it back to the opponent's side.
Theme: Anniversary Menu Theme - Brawlhalla

Shuichi Saihara Danganronpa
	Shuichi Saihara is the main protagonist of the game Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony. Titled "The Ultimate Detective", it's believed he was a part of The Gofer Project, a plan from the government to preserve the Earth after it's destruction, where he escaped in a spaceship along with other talented people. What he didn't expect, however, was to become a participant of the Killing School Semester, and to be in a dangerous Killing Game with the other survivors. Shuichi is a Technical character.
Special Shot: Truth Shot - Shuichi transforms the ball into a truth bullet, before firing it at the opponent. If the receiver returns this shot, their controls will be reversed temporarily.	Special Save: Psyche Taxi- A taxi suddenly forms itself under Shuichi, which allows him to srive towards tha ball and return it.
Theme: Climax Return - Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony

Erik Dragon Quest XI
	Erik is a character from Dragon Quest XI. A brash former thief, he was orphaned along with his sister at a young age, and had to learn how to pickpocket in order to survive. He becomes a companion to the Luminary after both escape the Heliodor castle dungeons, and decided to join on his quest to find the World Tree and defeat the Lord of Shadows. Erik is a Speedy character.
Special Shot: Cobra Shot - Erik returns the ball with his knife, causing it to become poisonous. If the opponent returns it, they will be poisoned, slowing them down temporarily.	Special Save: Boulderbringer- Erik summons a sigil beneath the ball, which causes rocks to come out of it and hit the ball back.
Theme: Battle Theme - Dragon Quest XI

Orange Cookie Cookie Run
	Orange Cookie is a character from Cookie Run. Energetic and zesty, she loves outdoor activities and sunny days. Orange cookie is ver excitable and always full of positive energy, and seems to be always practicing her tennis smashes. Orange Cookie is a Speedy character.
Special Shot: Zesty Smash - Orange Cookie smashes the ball, sending it at high speeds. If the opponent returns this shot, they will be covered in orange pulp, decreasing their traction heavily.	Special Save: Mini Orange Mouse- Orange Cookie's pet, Mini Orange Mouse, appears and gives her a blast jelly, allowing her to run very fast towards the ball and return it.

Neon Advent NEON
	Neon is the main protagonist of Advent NEON. A confident and energetic synthezoid, they were created in response to a global robotic crisis. Neon has incredible speed and can make use of resonance in order to speed through the city, shedding through robots at lightspeed. Neon is a Speedy character.
Special Shot: Resonance Shot - Neon turns into a glowing green form, radiating with energy, befor punching the ball with a huge fist. If the reciever returns this shot, they will be slowed down temporarily.	Special Save: Time Freeze- Neon temporaly stops time itself, before quickly dashing towards the ball and returning it.

Scott Wozniak Scott the Woz
	“The Guy Who Owns Sonic Jam” Scott Wozniak is the host of the ScottTheWoz channel on Youtube, where he makes videos talking about stupid Nintendo games for a living, while always being surrounded by a blue border. Scott is shown to have a surrealist type of humor, exaggerating things and speaking in a sarcastic way. He is also obssessed with Madden NFL 08. Scott is a Balanced character.
Special Shot: FlingSmash - Scott hits the ball, causing it to transform into Zip from FlingSmash (somehow) as it flies in an erratic pattern, making it difficult to return.	Special Save: This game blows! - Scott throws a copy of Chibi-robo Zip Lash! at the ground, somehow causing it to fly towards the ball and return it.

Wobbler Totally Accurate Battle Simulator
	Wobbler is a representation of the units in Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. These googly-eyed beings are always seen in wars between factions across time, being the brave warriors that fight each other by waving their arms around. Wobbler is a Tricky character.
Special Shot: Catapult Shot - Wobbler places the ball on a catapult, as it transforms into a boulder, before it's launched to the opponent. Returning this shot will cause the receiver to be knocked back heavily.	Special Save: Jousting Save - A horse appears out of nowhere, before picking up the wobbler and carrying them to the ball, allowing them to return it.
Theme: Batte of the Church - Totally Accurate Battle Simulator

Sakuya Izayoi Touhou Project
	Sakuya Izayoi is a recurring character in the Touhou series. A human living in the Scarlet Devil Mansion, where she serves as a maid for Remilia Scarlet, she is shown to be polite and devoted to her occupation. She is able to do most of the work due to her ability to control the flow of time. Sakuya is a Technical character.
Special Shot: Checkmaid - Sakuya fires a block of knives that stun the opponent if they're hit, before returning the ball.	Special Save: Time Sign "Private Square" - Sakuya slows down time, allowing her to return the ball.
Theme: Night of Nights - COOL&CREATE

	Magikarp is a Water-type Pokémon. Pokédex no. 129, Magikarp is a fish-like Pokémon who can be found swimming in pretty much any body of water. Although considered one of the most pathetic and weak Pokémon, it has the abillities to survive in even the most polluted bodies of water, and can use the move Splash to leap a mountain. Magikarp is a Speedy character.
Special Shot: Splash - Magikarp flops around before hitting the ball with its body. If the receiver returns this shot, they'll become wet and temporarily be slowed down.	Special Save: Flail - Magikarp flails all over the court aimlessly, before somehow landing on the ball and returning it.

Kid Cobra ARMS
	Kid Cobra is playable character in ARMS. Born with the rare ability of possessing extendable ARMS, he became a professional snakeboarder, a sport about riding spinning boards while doing tricks. He enventually joined the ARMS Grand Prix, a fighting tournament involving extendable ARMS, to boost the popularity of his vids even further. Kid Cobra is a Defensive character.
Special Shot: ARMS - Kid Cobra hits the ball with a random ARM, which inflicts an effect on the receiver if they return the shot. He can radomdly use the Slamamander, which knocks them back, the Hydra, which stuns them, and the Coolerang, which slows them down temporarily.	Special Save: Snakeboard - Kid Cobra rides on a snakeboard towards the ball while performing a trick, before returning it.

Neil Breen Fateful Findings
	Neil Breen is the director of movies such as Fateful Findings and Twisted Pair, of which he also produced, wrote, edited and starred in. His movies about supernatural ocurrences, government conspiracies and loneliness have gotten very popular due to the fact they're all incredibly bad. However, this doesn't stop him from being very passionate about his work. Neil Breen is a Balanced character.
Special Shot: Double Down - Neil Breen hacks the NGIA before returning the ball. If the receiver returns this shot, an area of their side of the court will be covered in a laser forcefield, hindering their movement.	Special Save: Twisted Jump - Neil Breen performs a poorly edited jump towards the ball before returning it. His whole side of the court then explodes for no reason.

Arizona Them's Fightin Herds
	Arizona is a playable character in Them's Fightin Herds. A member of the cattlekind, prairie folk who wish to live normal lives without want for anything else, she is the youngest daughter of her clan's Head Bull and Cow. After her land of Fœnum was invaded by supernatural predators, she was the only one brave enough to leave into the outside world to search their leader and save her home land. Arizona is a Powerful character.
Special Shot: Headbuck - Arizona revs up, before headbutting the ball with powerful force. If the receiver returns this shot, they'll be stunned temporarily.	Special Save: Lasso Save - Arizona swings her lasso towards the ball, before using it to reel it in and return the ball.

OMORI OMORI
	OMORI is the deuteragonist of his titular game. He is the WHITE SPACE version of SUNNY, where he can visit an imaginary with his friends, as a way to protect himself from his guilt after the death of his friend. However, as SUNNY's repression grew stronger, this world began to change, and OMORI became an image of his guilt and depression, who now has the goal of protecting SUNNY from the truth. OMORI is a Balanced character.
Special Shot: SAD POEM - OMORI reads a poem, covering the ball in a strange energy beforing returning it. If the receiver returns this shot, they'll temporarily becom SAD, slowing them down.	Special Save: RED HANDS - A group of RED HANDS appear around OMORI, before teleporting him to the ball, allowing him to return it.

Goro Majima Yakuza
	Goro Majima is a character from the Yakuza series. Introduced as a member of the Tojo Clan, known as the "Mad Dog of Shimano", he was once a Yakuza who was thrown out. Wishing to return to his roots, he attempts to assassinate a woman known as Makoto. However, he instead bonds with the woman, leaving him off the Yakuza, and eventually growing an eccentric persona, an obsession with Kazuma Kiryu, and his own construction company. Goro Majima is a Speedy character.
Special Shot: Demonfire Rain - Majima returns the ball while throwing electric tantōs at the opponent's side, which stun them if they touch them.	Special Save: Mad Dog Trick - Majima performs a slide and a pirouette towards the ball, before returning it.

Yay face idfk
	Yay face is a strange character. A representant of a rare species known as "faces", he derives his name from his optimistic and energetic nature. In this game, Yay face acts as a commentator, providing high-energy commentary during tournament matches. Yay face's commentary can be turned off in the Settings.

Blue Mario Mario
	Blue Mario is a character from the Mario Tennis series. His only prior appearance being on Mario Tennis for Nintendo 64, where he acted as the refereee sometimes, not much is known about this Mario lookalike. In this game, he finally returns to once again act as the referee for matches.

Funky Kong Donkey Kong

Funky Kong is a character from the Donkey Kong series. A bold and energetic member of the King family, he loves surfing and building machines. While not the biggest fan of adventuring, he is always seen helping his friends in his own ways, such as by offering transportation and through his shops. In this game, Funky Kong can be seen at the shop, where the player can purchase alternate costumes for characters and other cosmetics.

Cobalt Plateaus Angry Birds	Cobalt Plateaus is a location in Angry Birds. An area with tall mountains and cliffs located in Piggy Island, which serves as the birds' home. In this game, the court looks similar to its Angry Birds Tennis version.

Nevada Madness Combat	Nevada is the main location in Madness Combat. A deserted state which became an apocalyptic battlefield with a red glow throughout the progress of the series.

Wipeout Zone Wipeout	Wipeout Zone is the last round in an episode of Wipeout, where the contestants go through a challenging obstacle course, and the one with the fastest time wins the title of champion, along with $50,000. The court takes place at night, in a colorful platform suspended over (very cold) water.

Bowser's Castle Mario	Bowser's Castle is a recurring location in the Mario series. Set in a volcanic area, this is the place where the main antagonist, Bowser, resides and formulates his plans. Surprisingly, this place has often been used as a kart racing course and a tennis court.

Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash Scott The Woz	Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash is a court based on the game of the same name, which is known for being the most disliked game in the Mario Tennis series, and being reviewed by Scott in his The Dark Age of Nintendo series. The court itself takes place in a giant version of the game's box, for some reason.

The End Minecraft	The End is a dimension in Minecraft. Accessible once the player obtains enough ender eyes to complete the end portal, this is where the d=powerful ender dragon is fought, and where the endermen originate.

Discord Discord	Discord is a free chat application initially made for gaming communities. This court takes place in an active server, where random messages can be seen around.

McDonald's Playplace McDonald's	McDonald's Playplaces are outdoor playgrounds located inside McDonald's restaurants. This court takes place in a really enlarged place above a ball pit.

Bosses

These are the bosses that can be fought on the Boss Bash mode. These don't need to be fought in any particular order, but one needs to be unlocked by beating every other boss battle.

Petey Piranha Mario
	Petey Piranha is a character from the Mario series. A mutant Piranha Plant said to be the ruler of his species, he is a frequent boss character with abillities to set him apart from others from his species, such as creating tornadoes and spitting goop. His battle takes place in Bianco Hills.
Petey Piranha's battle is heavily inspired by his Mario Tennis Aces encounter. The battle starts by having the player and Petey rally a ball. After returning enough times, Petey will get stunned and expose his weakspot, being his bellybutton, which must be hit with the ball in order to damage him. After taking damage, Petey will try to attack by creating tornadoes, which the player must avoid, before beginning the rally once again. After being hit twice, Petey will cover the ground in goop, decreasing the player's traction. Petey is defeated once he gets hit three times.
Theme: Boss Battle - Super Mario Sunshine

Master Hand Super Smash Bros.
	Master Hand is a character from the Super Smash Bros. series. A hand-like entity known as the creator of the Smash Bros. universe, he is a mysterious with unknown goals and incredible power, only appearing to face off aginst the strongest of fighters. His battle takes place in Final Destination.
Master Hand starts the battle by attacking the player, using his Fake-Out Slap to crush them, before using his Flying Punch across the stage. After this, Master Hand will produce three fireballs and throw these at the player, and if they manage to return these, Master Hand will be stunned, allowing the player to damage him by hitting him with a ball. Master Hand is defeated once he gets hit three times.

Memphis, Tenessee Sonic The Hedgehog
	Memphis, Tenesee is the main antagonist of Sonic The Hedgehog (2006). Born during the Solaris Project, which was split into him and the Grand Slam, Memphis is a gamer virgin who became evil after being reject by his ex-boyfriend, Shadow The Hedgehog, leading him to orchestrate a plan to create a real-life battle royale game in order to conquer the world... this story is really confusing. His battle takes place in Dusty Desert.
Mephistophiles starts the battle by creating an army of clones. During this, the player cannot damage Memphis, which means they're required to hit enough clones with the ball in order to charge it. Once it's charged enough, it will be covered in Yellow, which means the player can shoot it at Memphis in order to damage him. After being hit, Memphis will attack the player by throwing balls of Purple at the player, which must be dodged. Memphis is defeated after being hit three times.
Theme: Boss Mephiles - Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)

Magolor Kirby
	Magolor is the main antagonist of Kirby's Return to Dream Land. After crashing his ship, the Lor Starcutter, onto Planet Popstar, he convinces Kirby and his friends to help him fix it. After it's fixed, he uses it to take them to his home planet, where they fight and defeat the dragon Landia. However, this is where he reveals his true intentions by stealing Landia's Master Crown, a crown that gives Magolor great powers by wearing it, which he plans to use to take over the universe. His battle takes place in Another Dimension.
Magolor starts the battle by attacking the player, summoning puddles on the ground which turn into large spikes after a moment. After this attack, he will throw purple orbs at the player, which can be hit back at him, and hitting him with enough of these will break his guard. This will lead Magolor to summon rifts that shoot lasers at the player, before firing one more orb. If this orb is hit back at Magolor, he will be damaged, and this pattern will be repeated. Magolor is defeated after being damaged three times.
Theme: C-R-O-W-N-E-D - Kirby's Return to Dream Land

Queen Deltarune
	Queen is the main antagonist of Deltarune Chapter 2. The ruler of Cyber World and its most popular figure, she wishes to bring happiness to the inhabitants of her world, which she believes can be done by opening the Dark Fountains. However, she doesn't know that doing so will lead to an apolyptic event known as The Roaring. Her battle takes place in Queen's Mansion.
Queen starts the battle by summoning a baseball, which the player must rally with her. While the rally is happening, Queen will try to attack the player by having one of her boots drop down above them, which must be dodged. After the ball is rallied enough, Queen will be stunned, allowing the player to damage her by hitting her with the ball. After being damaged, Queen will attack by spilling acid from her glass at the player, which can be dodged by moving from side to side. Queen is defeated after being damaged three times.
Theme: Attack of the Killer Queen - Deltarune Chapter 2

Merasmus Team Fortress 2
	Merasmus is a character from Team Fortress 2. Not particularly a top tier wizard, Merasmus used to live in his castle with a Soldier as his roommate. After kicking the Soldier out for being a nuisance and getting evicted himself, he went to live in the U.S. southwest, where he got arrested for a crime he didn't commit. Eventually, he constructed his own carnival, where the mercenaries constantly killed eachother, according to his plan to summon Bonzo, the evil circus god of Sumeria. His battle takes place in Ghost Fort.
Merasmus starts the battle by beginning a rally with the player, using his staff to hit the ball back. After rallying enough, the ball will transform into a bomb, as Merasmus disguises himself and makes random props appear. To damage him, the player must hit the disguised Merasmus with the bomb. After being hit, Merasmus will attempt to attack the player using hellfire, before starting the rally again. Once he gets hit twice, bombs will start to appear that can explode and damage the player. Merasmus is defeated once he's hit three times.

Giant Enemy Spider jerma985
	The Giant Enemy Spider is a creature seen in a Wreckfest gameplay video by jerma985. Allegedly the secret boss of the game, this spider will attempt to crush any poor soul that stands near it by dancing and stomping its eight feet. It seemingly has a weakness to rolls of carpeting. Its battle takes place in a prototype Wreckfest map.
The Giant Enemy Spider starts the battle by firing giant carpeting rolls at the player. The player can attack the spider by hitting the rolls at its red spots in its body. Once it's hit enough times, the spider will be stunned, and the player will be able to damage it by hitting a carpeting roll at its mouth. After being damaged, the Giant Enemy Spider will try to attack the player by summoning spinners from Wreckfest, along with shredder rolls which must be dodged. Later in the fight, Small Enemy Spiders will appear, which will make the player's movement more difficult. The Giant Enemy Spider is defeated after being hit three times.

Elisa Wii Sports
	Elisa is a mii opponent in Wii Sports, appearing as the champion in Tennis and the vice-champion in Boxing. Being the best tennis player in the game, she only faces off against the most skilled players, and always proves to be an incredibly challenging opponent to beat. She also appears as the coach in the Tennis' training modes. Her battle takes place in Wii Tennis. She can only be fought after the player wins against every other boss.
Elisa begins the fight by summoning four targets from Target Practice. These targets move around a wall, and the player must hit each of them twice to proceed with the fight. After this, the player will play seemingly normal tennis with Elisa, but her shots will be incredibly fast. If the player is able to get Elisa to miss the ball, the player will score, and the battle will proceed to the next phase, where Elisa will attack the player by firing walls from Timing Your Swing, which can be dodged by moving from side to side, along with moles from Tennis Moles, which pop from the ground below the player. After the attacks, the pattern repeats itself, but harder. If the player scores three times, Elisa is defeated.

Trivia

• The idea for this game came when Detective came up with a potential umbrella roster for fun. After this, he remembered a really old joke he made about making an umbrella tennis game, which this game then became. He later encouraged himself to transfer the idea to Fantendo.
• This game was inspired by many umbrella games on the website, including Super Slam Jam and CrossClash II.
