Darkie is a Psychic/Dark-type Legendary Pokemon.

It is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokemon.

Biology

Darkie is a small, purple fairy-like Pokemon, looking strikingly like Mesprit. However, there is a somewhat invisible stich over the upper right part of it's torso, indicating that the dark heart is within it. There are two tails connected to it's rear end, which unlike it's organic counterpart, cannot be used for the red chain.

It may not have any traits that "punish" people for doing something to it(Like looking into it's eyes or touching it), but it does like a lot of attention. Sadly, it'll go in an existential crisis whenever it's all alone, resting in the chamber it was born in.

However, despite its friendly nature, it would fend off anything it sees as a threat, like an attacking Pokemon.

When Mega evolved, the gemstone on it's head would become a heart shape, along with spikes forming on the shoulders, and the drooping things attatched to the head becoming longer. To add onto that, a tear is seen on the pokemon's eye, signaling it's weakened state.

Appearances

Loogimon

It's first minor appearance, which appears in it's game mode +. It can be found in it's lab, but a long chain of events is required to be completed first, followed by aquisition of the Dark heart, which is required to actually use the pokemon.

Trivia

  • Despite looking like Mesprit, it's not actually a lake guardian. Although, it does have traits from another Lake guardian:
    • in this case, its cry sounds identical to Uxie's.
  • This Pokemon starts off at level 20, currently being the lowest of any non-evolving or Mega-evolving Legendary.
  • Although genderless, it's referred to as a female.
  • She is the only one that can learn "Shadow Telekinesis", which lets her counterattack against projectile attacks.
  • This could be the first pokemon to be utterly useless unless it has a specific item.
    • In this case, the Dark heart has to be used, in which(in games after Loogimon) it always holds.
  • It was originally going to be a Mesprit clone.
    • however, due to Darkie becoming her own character, her creator made it so she's a living fossil. A clone of a Darkie that existed a long time ago.

Origin

It's appearance is based off of two other Pokemon: Mesprit and Mimikyu. It could also be based off of shadows or duplacates.

It's name could be a combination of "Dark" and "Pixie", or a simple nickname used to refer to a Dark duplacate character, like Dark Bowser.
