Cruz (Japanese: クルス Kurusu) is Water type-beta starter Pokémon. It evolves into Aqua (アクア) at an unknown level, which then evolves into Aqueria (アクエリア) at level 32.
It is the Water-type of its starter trio, alongside Grass-type ハッパ Leef, a beta version of Chikorita, and Fire-type ホノオグマ Flambear, a bearlike Pokémon that was also scrapped before the final version.
This Pokémon existed in the 1997 Space World demo of Pokémon Gold and Silver, but was removed before its final release. It has never been officially confirmed, although data from the leaked demo reveals some info.
Biology[]
クルス and its evolutionary line is pinniped in design, causing some sources to cite similarities to the official Popplio line introduced in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon.
