The Crazy 8 as it appears in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

The original Crazy 8

The Crazy 8, sometimes written as Crazy Eight, is an item introduced in Mario Kart 8. Like the Lucky 7 in Mario Kart 7, the Crazy 8 gives eight various items when used, these being the Coin, Banana Peel, Green Shell, Red Shell, Dash Mushroom, Super Star, Bob-omb, and Blooper. Aside from the Coin, this item gives out the exact same items as the Lucky 7.

The Crazy 8 in Mario Kart 8 is depicted as a cyan blue number eight, shaped in lieu to a Möbius strip, very much like the 8 in Mario Kart 8's logo.

In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, the Crazy 8 has been given a crimson hue to match the 8 in the logo of this deluxe version.

Game Appearances

Dry Bones Kart series

Dry Bones Kart 8

Like in Mario Kart 8, the Crazy 8 appears in Dry Bones Kart 8 and will return in its port. Very much like its precedent from Dry Bones Kart 7, the Lucky 7, the Crazy 8 gives the player eight items to use at once, circling around the vehicle where other racers can feel their effects if they run into one. The biggest difference between the original version from Mario Kart 8, and the one in Dry Bones Kart 8, is that the Crazy 8 contains a Fake Item Box instead of a Coin.

Dry Bones Kart 9

Both the Lucky 7 and Crazy 8 are going to return in this game, along with a new item called the Cloud 9.

Dry Bones Kart 10

The three aforementioned items will return in this game, as well as a new item called the Perfect 10.
