Chun-Li is a major protagonist in the Street Fighter series. She was introduced in Street Fighter II as the franchise's first female fighter and the first female character to originate in a fighting game in general.
She was an Interpol agent investigating the death of her father, and swore vengeance on M. Bison after learning that he had killed him. She has since become one of the Shadaloo organization's primary enemies.
