Capsepper, known in Japan as コチリ (Kochili), is a Grass-type Pokémon. It evolves into Caperado when exposed to a Fire Stone. It is likely a parallel to Dandefluff.

Capsepper resembles an upside-down Chili fruit, with long feet and hand-like leafs sprouting from the bottom.

It is said to be extraordinarily spicy, as taking a bite from it would result the one who took the bite spewing flames. It is also said to smell horribly spicy when it passes away. Because of this, this Pokémon is rarely to never targeted as prey.

Capsepper fruits grow on a Caperado. The Caperado needs to eventually release the Capsepper when they are old enough before they rot. Said Capsepper trek to colder places to harden and eventually return to their birthplace to grow into Caperado.

Capsepper resembles a fruit from a pepper plant, more specifically a Chili plant.

Name Origin

Capsepper comes from Capsicum, a genus for pepper plants, and pepper.
