Bwaluigi is a notable Rabbid that appears in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Created by the Megabug, he is a Rabbid dressed as Waluigi, wearing his cap, shirt, and overalls. His artowrk incorrectly depicts him wearing blue overalls, though in-game he wears the correct black overalls. Compared to other Rabbids, Bwaluigi has red eyes and black eyelids, as opposed to the normal tan eyelids. He fights similar to the Smasher enemies.
History[]
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle[]
Bwaluigi debuts in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle as a boss. He and Bwario are battled in the Lava Pit, being created by the Megabug to impede the heroes' progress in reaching Bowser's Castle. After defeated, they are later rematched, this time along with the Lava Queen.
In both battles, Bwaluigi wields a massive red Warp Pipe, which he carries behind his back. He fights identically to the Smasher enemies, pursuing the heroes and charging at them if they attack him. When next to a hero, he will slam his Warp Pipe down on them to deal massive damage, similar to the Melee weapons used by Mario and Rabbid Mario. Bwaluigi can also use Rabbid Mario's Magnet Dance, drawing the heroes closer to him. He can also inflict anyone hit by his pipe with Honey, preventing them from moving for a turn.
Appearances[]
Insane Escalation[]
Appears as a boss in Insane Escalation alongside his buddy Bwario. Bwaluigi has 1000 health and has more attacking power. Like in his game of origin, he can swing down his large red pipe that can inflict honey (which induce immobilization into the victims) but have limited range. That is to say, his Magnet Dance can combine well with his powerful close combat and Bwario's Villain Sight, and will move faster if hit by anything. This time, he also can use Rockets in Phase 2, which inflict freezing, thus giving him a ranged attack. Like Bwario, Bwaluigi can call Ziggies and Bucklers for reinforcement.
Once Bwario is knocked out, Bwaluigi goes berserk and enter his solo Phase 3; he will never stop chasing the players until he becomes exhausted, and even so, it will take a long time. He also causes earthquake and shockwaves by slamming down the floor even harder. Overall, despite his slowness, Bwaluigi is more dangerous than his partner, which makes savvy players wanting to knocking him out first.
Super Mario Kart: Switch Circuit[]
Bwaluigi appears as a playable character in Super Mario Kart: Switch Circuit, being apart of the Super Mario Kart: Switch Circuit x Rabbids downloadable pack. He is a Cruiser character, having high top speed and weight, but low acceleration and handling. His special item is the Gold Flower, which he shares with Bwario, Wario, Waluigi, Captain Syrup, Queen Merelda, and Princess Shokora.
