“Briefly envelops your kart and protects you from damage for a set time. While in the bubble, you will get a speed boost and float in the air. Watch out, because it will vanish upon taking damage!”
The Bubble is an item that appears in the Mario Kart series. The Bubble first debuts as a Special Item in Mario Kart Tour, where it can be used by Lemmy Koopa, Baby Peach, Baby Daisy, and Baby Rosalina. The item acts similarly to the Bullet Bill in that its use is to protect the user as it takes control of the player's vehicle, though it can be seen as a much inferior version of it (and thus its precursor, the Chain Chomp) due to the fact that it travels much slower, will pop if the player is hit by any items (or after a short period of time), and does not damage other racers. Like the Bullet Bill, the player can slightly steer left or right while under the Bubble's effects, though the racer will primarily attempt to stay in the center of the racecourse.
