Blue Coins are a type of coin in the Mario franchise. They typically appear in bulk for a brief time when a P Switch is pressed, have a higher monetary value than the standard coin, or both. They vary in shade from a pale turquoise to a deep ultramarine, which has led to strategy guides mistakenly describing them as Silver Coins.
