Baby Luigi's Mansion is the first game in the Baby Luigi's Mansion series for the PlayStation 2, Xbox 360 and Wii. It is made by Telltale Games and was released in June 2007 in North America, Latin America, and Europe, February 2008 in Australia, New Zealand, and Asia (including Russia and India), and October 2008 in Japan. The game was first announced at E3 2006.

Overworld[]

Baby Luigi's Mansion has the same type of gameplay as Luigi's Mansion. Baby Luigi and Starlow enter a mansion that was made by King Boo. E. Gadd explained to Baby Luigi and Starlow about the history of the mansion. Baby Luigi and Starlow have to save Blue Toad and Yellow Toad and fight ghosts.

Battle[]

The battle system for Baby Luigi and Starlow is the same as Luigi's Mansion.

Playable Characters[]

  • Baby Luigi - He is the one with average speed, jumping, and the Poltergust 3000 in battle.
  • Starlow - She may not have arms, but she has great speed.

Non-Playable Characters[]

  • Professor E. Gadd - He is so supportive, that he thought Baby Luigi how to use the Plotergust 3000.
  • Blue Toad - He and Yellow Toad were kidnapped by King Boo.
  • Yellow Toad - He and Blue Toad were kidnapped by King Boo.
  • The Ghosts - The Ghosts are the bad guys, and for them to be defeated, Baby Luigi should use the Poltergust 3000 to hunt down and capture certain ghosts, such as the Boos.
  • King Boo - He is the final boss of the game, and he has strength and speed.

  • This was the first and only game in the Baby Luigi's Mansion series to ever be localized into Estonian and Russian, until Baby Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon + Baby Wario Land on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android, as Baby Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon + Baby Wario Land was the second game in the Baby Luigi's Mansion series to be localized into Estonian and Russian.
    • This was also the first and only game in the Baby Luigi's Mansion series to ever be localized into Swedish, until Baby Luigi's Mansion 3 on the Nintendo Switch, as Baby Luigi's Mansion 3 was the second game in the Baby Luigi's Mansion series to be localized into Swedish.
  • This was the only game in the Baby Luigi's Mansion series to ever be released on the PlayStation 2. It would later be added as a digital download game on the PlayStation 3 in 2013 as a part of the PS2 Classics line in North America and Europe, and on the PlayStation 4 in 2016 in North America and Europe.
