  • August 7: A new update for Dr. Mario World has added Dr. Daisy, Dr. Wario, and Dr. Waluigi to the game. New stages have also been added as well!
  • August 7: More new information about Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield has been released. In addition to a new Electric/Dark-type Pokémon named Morpeko, regional variants have been confirmed to exist with Weezing, Zigzagoon, and Linoone all receiving these forms. Exclusive evolutions have also been confirmed for Galarian Pokémon, with Galarian Linoone evolving into Obstagoon. New characters, including new rivals Bede and Marnie, were also shown off, as was the Galar region's new evil team, a group of crazed Marnie fans calling themselves Team Yell.   • August 6: The first Event Tourney for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has been revealed! Heroes vs. Villains will begin on August 8th, and players will be able to choose to fight on either side with heroes like Mario, Link, Samus, Fox, and Hero and villains like King K. Rool, Meta Knight, and Ridley. The higher you place, the better Spirit you'll win!
  • July 31: The Hero from the Dragon Quest series has been released as a playable DLC fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, alongside a 4.0 update bringing back Spectator mode and online tournaments. It was also confirmed that limited-time tournaments with special rulesets and restrictions, called Event Tourneys, will also be held in the future.
  • July 11: The newest version of the Nintendo Switch has been announced called the Nintendo Switch Lite. It has a smaller form factor, a unified colour scheme, and non-detachable controllers. It will launch with an MSRP of $200 in North America.
  • July 8: New information relating to Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield has been released. Several new Pokémon were revealed including Rolycoly, Duraludon, and Alcremie, and an addition to the previously-announced Dynamax feature, known as Gigamaxing, has been spoken about as well.
  • June 17: Nintendo's next mobile title, Dr. Mario World, was finally detailed after being announced in February. Set to release on July 10, Dr. Mario World introduces several new types of Viruses and the doctor alter-egos for a number of characters including Peach, Bowser, Toad, and Yoshi. An official Twitter account, run by the Viruses, has also been opened: @Drmarioworld_EN.
  • June 11: Nintendo aired their E3 Direct and revealed a ton of information for a number of titles. New information was shared about Luigi's Mansion 3, Dragon Quest XI S, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, Daemon X Machina, Pokemon Sword and Shield, Astral Chain, Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3, Cadence of Hyrule, and Mario & Sonic 2020 Olympic Games. In addition, Animal Crossing: New Horizons was formally revealed, as were The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics, No More Heroes III, Collection of Mana, a Switch port of The Witcher 3, Contra: Rogue Corps, Contra Anniverse Collection, Empire of Sin, Panzer Dragoon, and a sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. The Hero from Dragon Quest and Banjo-Kazooie were also revealed as the next two DLC characters for Smash Ultimate!
  • June 9: It's the start of E3!
  • June 1: Happy Pride Month!
  • May 29: The Pokémon Company held a business strategy presentation for the Pokémon franchise, revealing plans for a new mobile game called Pokémon Masters, a sequel to Detective Pikachu for the Nintendo Switch, a pseudo-successor to Pokémon Bank called Pokémon Home, and a new app called Pokémon Sleep!   • May 22: The closed beta for Nintendo's latest mobile game, Mario Kart Tour, has begun!
  • May 15: A Nintendo Direct focused around the upcoming Super Mario Maker 2 premiered, bringing with it many new details about the game!
  • April 17: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate releases its 3.0 patch alongside Joker as a DLC Fighter!
  • February 27: Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield were revealed, along with the Galar region and the three starter Pokémon!
  • February 13: Nintendo held a Direct, revealing Super Mario Maker 2, Astral Chain, a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, and more!
  • January 29: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate releases its 2.0 patch alongside Piranha Plant as a DLC Fighter!

Crescent Kicker logo

Crescent Kicker is a platforming/beat 'em up game developed by TimeStrike and published by Sega for the Sega Genesis, released on August 28th, 1995 worldwide. It was developed simultaneously with BowieQuest and Aftershock as part of a three-title deal with Sega, with the focus of all three games being to continue the legacy of the slowly dying Genesis platform. The game's setting takes place on the fictional Planet Kickaxe, which is slowly being overtaken by desertification and excessive oil mining, driving its residents down to the remaining fertile corners of the world. The world government in response secretly hires an unusually fit and sassy kickboxer known as the "Crescent Kicker", whom they direct to eliminate the greedy oil tycoons threatening the world's last remaining natural locations and save the lives of many N.I.C.E. soldiers (Nature Is Classy Elites) that had been wounded by their equally greedy associates and cohorts.
