Pokémon Metro, for those out of the know is a spin-off in a similar vein to Pokémon Legends Arceus. Like its predecessor the game focuses on exploration and a free-roaming camera environment as well as introducing the Frenzy Battle System. Here is some upcoming news for Pokémon Metro;

  • District Shops - Much like the culture of each sub-area of Higuma City, the shopping differs as well, the items one can find in each shop varies, not just like in the main series with the acclimation of badges but rather in the very nature of the items more akin to the Boutiques in previous Pokémon Regions. As such the game features many items with varying effects that often are focused more so around the atmosphere of that location, of course the more traditional items like X Items, Potions, Status Healing all return although are generally more expensive than in the main series to balance the more quirky aspects of the new items.
  • Battlefield Rules - An evolution on the Weather System, Terrain System and similar systems seen throughout the Pokémon series, Battlefield Rules is a new system which clumps the previous systems together giving the battlefield its own aspects which allow battles to be more unique. Alongside Weather and Terrain which the player's Pokémon can still change at will, Battlefields also now have Height, Obstacles and Noise as additional elements which shift up the gameplay by putting certain Pokemon in favour over others.

Pokémon Kalos Reborn is a remake of Pokémon XY that aims to take the more unique aspects of Kalos' region and expand on them giving it a more unique identity from the rest of the series while retaining the core gameplay elements of the series. The game focuses on the mythology around Mega Evolution, heavily expanding on what's presented in Pokémon X & Pokémon Y.

  • Kalos Region Reborn - Return to a Kalos Region, vaster and more intricate than that from X & Y, where familiar landmarks give way to new locations throughout the region. New Towns and Cities, various additional dungeons and expansions to previous locations remixed into a new environment.
  • The Old Ways Reborn - Explore the vast intricate dungeons of the Kalos Region and through the new game mode, Battle Depths try to reach the heart of the great Kalosian Palace where the old King of Kalos once resided now infested with dangerous Pokémon and the spirits of the past.
  • Rivals Reborn - Returning from Pokémon X & Y, the four rivals have a much expanded role in the story, each hailing from different corners of the region, all sharing the goal of being the one to uncover the mysteries of the Kalos Region's history with Mega Evolution.
  • Lysandre Labs - Where in Pokémon X & Y, Lysandre Labs simply served as a front for Team Flare's operations, in Kalos Reborn the company serves strictly to help bring technological prosperity to the region through its inventions and conveniences. Lysandre himself taking on a more supportive role towards the player as the financier behind Sycamore's exploration into the history of Mega Evolution.
DKULogo

Donkey Kong Ultra is a 3D Platformer that sees the return of the Banjo-Kazooie/Donkey Kong 64 playstyle although aims to refine it in various ways. Like the previous, Donkey Kong 64, the game features multiple playable Kongs who have to traverse DK Island and the nearby Kremosseum in order to stop King K. Rool who's returned to the island to take over once again.

  • Returning Kongs - Donkey Kong and his crew return once again, Diddy, Tiny, Lanky, Chunky as well as Cranky & Dixie appear as playable characters, each with their own distinct playstyle.
  • New Kongs - Joining the fray are two new Kongs, the wild and unpredictable Ruggedly Kong who's wild appearance is complimented by his Action Platforming which focuses on combining combat and platforming into a seemless sequence of actions often with a musical tinge to it. Meanwhile, the reclusive and aloof, Doctor Kong also makes her first appearance, a genius among the Kongs her gameplay focuses on a run-and-gun style of platforming using various weapons able to mess with enemies.
  • Collectibles - Like DK64 before it, DKU features several collectibles although these are focused into three main groups; Key Items, Bananas and Golden Bananas. Key Items are needed for progression through the game and are unique collectibles gained either through boss battles, Bananas are the game's currency allowing the player to purchase upgrades for the characters as well as new abilities and can be used to open up progression to new and optional areas. Lastly Golden Bananas, which serve as the main collectibles of the game are rewarded for completing anything from platforming sequences, puzzles, minigames, enemy gauntlets, exploration and some sidequests, they're used to purchase some special upgrades and are the main tracker for the completion % of the game.
