Fantendo Smash Bros. Omega is a multiplayer fighting game released for the V², and the first Fantendo Smash Bros. game set in Omega Prime. It follows Mynisandcompany in their struggle to defeat the Twisted Cross. It differentiates itself from other Fantendo Smash Bros. titles on the V² with its accessory system and generally more lighthearted mood.
The general gameplay, of course, is visibly very similar to Super Smash Bros. Characters can perform Standard attacks and Special attacks, with Standard attacks usually following the same basic formulas but also being easier to combo with and Special attacks nearly always being unique to the character but also being more specific to certain situations. Characters can also Shield against incoming attacks or Dodge them altogether. The game does not have "health" that must be depleted, and attacking an enemy instead raises their damage counter. The more damage you've taken, the father you'll fly when attacked. Being knocked a certain distance off of the screen will cause you to lose a stock. The player with the most stocks remaining by the end of a given match is the winner.
Accessorizing[]
At the start of battle, players can select up to three Accessories to wear. As well as changing the selected character's visual appearance, Accessories also let players fine-tune their characters' stats and abilities to cover their weaknesses or amplify their strengths. Certain accessories can even give characters new abilities like wall jumping or tether grabbing.
Codec Conversations[]
Codec Conversations are a phenomenon borrowed from previous Super Smash Bros. and Fantendo Smash Bros. titles. By inputting the Down Taunt command for exactly one frame (1/60th of a second), certain characters can engage in conversations with another character about their opponents. More information about Codec Conversations can be found here!
Game Modes[]
Versus Mode[]
This mode is devoted exclusively to competitive multiplayer modes, and serves as the main focus of the game. Play against up to seven others at once in Local Smash, link up with three other consoles on the other side of the world in Online Smash!
Local Smash and Online Smash[]
The primary mode of the game, in which a group of players or NPCs face off against each other in highly customizable battles! This mode can be played either locally with eight players maximum, or online between four different consoles.
Community Poll[]
An online-only mode heavily inspired by Super Smash Bros. 4's Conquest mode and the Splatoon series' Splatfest. This mode consists of themed competitions in which players pick a side corresponding to an opinion, and then battle against the other to see which opinion is the most popular. After 24 hours, the victories are tallied and the winning side is determined! Community Poll cutscenes are stylized as online video blog posts and are hosted by Claire and Ronnie. A list of all of the Community Polls can be found here!
Story Mode[]
This mode contains a wide selection of campaigns for 1-2 players to embark through together. Experience the main story of the game in Alpha and Omega, or try something completely different and definitely not canon in Self-Insertions!
Alpha And Omega[]
The Twisted Cross' sins are starting to pile up, and a warning from a clueless Claire pushes Dr. Needlenam to set her plans for Earth into motion immediately out of paranoia. Meanwhile, fighters from across Earth and beyond are drawn by heroism, vengeance, desire, or mere fate to the Cross' headquarters...
Alpha and Omega is the main story mode of the game, which follows the cast of the Mynisverse during the rise and fall of the Twisted Cross. A full synopsis of Alpha and Omega can be found here!
Self-Insertions[]
The Self-Insertions are an array of short "alternative" story modes. One Self-Insertion exists for each character, and briefly retells a special story Fantendo Smash Bros. Omega written about the chosen character, from the perspective of the chosen character by the chosen character. Summaries of each character's Self-Insertion can be found on their page.

Standard Special Electro Buster Bolt
Mynis fires a quick forward-moving electrical projectile with short range and low damage. Good at breaking shields or quickly interrupting enemy attacks.
Side Special Inpeerion Cyclone Cutter
Mynis dashes a short distance forward while spinning his knives on the ends of a pair of belts, rapidly damaging anyone in front of him with the blades. During the initial dash, he can reflect frontal projectiles.
Up Special Lightning Corkscrew Finisher
Mynis surrounds himself in a tornado of sparks while rising upwards. A good recovery move that chips away at enemy health with multiple weak hits. Hitting an enemy with only the tip of the attack at the height of the move can send them flying.
Down Special Bottomless Bag of Blumps
Mynis pulls a Blump out of his bag, and can either throw it to damage the enemy or eat it to grant himself a temporary stat boost corresponding to the Blump's color (see below list). Mynis can only have one Blump boost at a time, and eating one while a previous boost is in effect does nothing. Allies and enemies can catch Blumps, but enemies cannot eat them.
Yellow Blump: The eater immediately regains some health.
Red Blump: The eater's attacks deal more damage.
Blue Blump: The eater's run speed and jump height are increased.
Purple Blump: The eater's sweetspots become larger and easier to hit with.
Green Blump: The eater's health passively regenerates.
Spare Junk: This cannot be eaten by anyone, but deals more damage when thrown.
Omega Technique Narcissus Mynis
Mynis eats a Glistening Blump and transforms into his ultimate form, Narcissus Mynis. For the short time he's in this form, his standard attacks are bathed in electricity, his speed and mobility are improved, and enemy projectiles reflect harmlessly off his shimmering silver fur.
Up Taunt
Side Taunt
Down Taunt
Mynis insults the opponent, with the words appearing in a speech bubble over his head. If an enemy touches the speech bubble, it bursts and deals a little damage.
Mynis strikes a dynamic pose - one hand on his hip, the other pointed directly forward, with his scarf billowing behind him and a confident smirk on his face. He will remain in this pose until the player inputs.
Mynis tries to spin both his knives at once, but ends up dropping them both, and has to crouch to pick them back up.
Victory Pose 1
Victory Pose 2
Victory Pose 3
Mynis tosses the long of his scarf over his shoulder and turns to make a badass exit, but steps on the scarf and falls flat on his face.
Mynis is swarmed by reporters asking what his thoughts on the battle were, to which he responds "Good fight. But not good enough to beat me!"
Mynis flexes. It's only mildly impressive.

Standard Special Anesthetize
Claire throws a syringe of anesthetic straight in front of her. A fast-moving projectile attack with low range and power.
Side Special Lunging Strike
Ronnie hefts Claire onto her back before leaping forwards. If she collides with an enemy, she will automatically grab them and claw at them before kicking off of them for some extra height. Alternatively, pressing the attack button mid-lunge will cause Ronnie to curl her body around Claire's. In this state, colliding with enemies will only deal damage, but the two don't lose horizontal movement speed as quickly.
Up Special Catching Up
Ronnie hurls Claire upwards, during which Claire's trajectory can be controlled. When Claire's at the height of the throw, Ronnie dashes directly towards her to catch her while slashing anyone in the way.
Down Special Watch Out!
Claire enters a cautious stance. If she's hit during this state, she lets out a warning cry, and Ronnie responds to it by pulling her out of the way and then slashing downwards to counter the attack.
Omega Technique Perfect Coordination
After a brief high-five, Ronnie and Claire charge in opposite directions, slashing through enemies on either side of them at high speeds to send them flying. The two then reconvene at their original position. The direction of the slash can be chosen with the control stick.

Side Taunt
Down Taunt
Ronnie loudly taunts the enemy while Claire tries to get her to quiet down.
Claire raises one hand for a high five, which Ronnie gladly gives.
Ronnie spins a pizza box on one finger. Claire watches and applauds.
Victory Pose 1
Victory Pose 2
Victory Pose 3
Ronnie lifts Claire onto her shoulders, then leaps out of the camera's view.
Claire pulls Ronnie down and kisses her on the cheek, causing her to become flustered.
Ronnie collapses onto the ground into a lounging position. Claire sits next to her with her laptop out and begins typing something.
